  1. I have an Apex Anvil now for over 5 years now, got mine from BPS for $100, I'm sure they are a bit more now, I love mine. It pure meat and potatoes built tough. Though it's not a "true rotary" vice it rotates just fine for what I do and that is jigs, I tie hair jigs, float n fly jigs and bass jigs from finesse style to 5/0 football head jigs. Like I said its nothing fancy but for what most of us here do it's got plenty of backbone and rotation. For the price, you can not get a better vice.
  2. Those are awesome, I have that old, need to get more insert as I I have just one i had to rub the insert with fine sandpaper to get it super smooth and adding worm oil help a ton, I blow air in the opening to be able to get the bait off the insert easier l love your baits, great job on airbrushing them, that is my next step on my learning curve, airbrushing plastics

My number one mold guy, I go to his site first before anyone else, he makes the best moods and his service us second to none, no other mold company holds a candle to his customers service, i wish every mold maker were like him, just can't say enough kind and honest things about enforcer, I'm a customer for life

    Delmart

Little soap and water and light scrubbing should do the trick Just a little left over residue
  13. X3 super sharp but never knew which ones where going to break o bend Just not worth getting, heat treating and annealing were suspect
  14. Best way I found is through dipping Get a round rod the size tube you want, let's call it 1/8 for explaining purpose ok, don't get stuck on the size, the real size will be up to you but it will be small. Next get your plastic of choice, since they are small I would think you could get away with a medium Plastisol, normal tubes are usually harder plastic made for salt water Got your plastic all heated ready to use and Dip to about 1" key cool for a few seconds and dip again same size. Let cool and remove tube from rod, cut to size and the split tails by hand using scissors, razor blades xacto blade etc. There you have a nice crappie tube, the reason for two dips is simple, if you want two color tubes like a red head with yellow tail the you dip the yello first the dip the red only half way You will have to figure out your self a good way to many at a time but that is best left to his you like to work Hope this helps homie
