  1. Itried it with my pony head mold, didn't like it. Another thing I tried, that works well, is to use a hot glue gun and inject it into the molds. You need to smoke the mold first or it's hard to get them out. I have been keeping that one a secret for a while, but it's funner to share.
  2. Why not smoke it? I have done this to every mold I have ever owned and have had no problems.
  3. Have you smoked the mold with a candle? This will make the mold pour awsome every time. Just place the mold cavity over a candle flame until it turns black.
  4. my 2.15oz bass at ky lake in september. Cought on a PB&J 1/2oz Arky.

  10. Your very welcome. Thats what this site is all about, helping each other out. As for the lexan, it could be any size you want. That was just a piece I had lying around. I was in a hurry to try mine out so I just used what I had handy.

    Flat eye jig?

I have the arky with the flat eye and these are by and large my favorite all around jig. I have 5 other jig molds and perfer the flat eye to all the others. They do not hang up as much as the other style. Now, if they would come up with a flat eye hook for the Poison tail mold, I may change my mind.
  13. Thanks terrydabassman. That is awsome. I guess I can break out the lathe again and give it a try.
  14. As I always say, why buy it when you can make it yourself. It takes longer to gather the materials than it does to assemble it. I made mine for about 25.00 and it works like a champ. I posted some pictures of mine on my website for another fourm, they are on the tournament page. They are really simple to make.
  15. What was the plastic called? That sounds like it could be interesting.
