  1. Just do what we did up at college...........when you move, put a poster over the hole!
  2. I also use one from Harbor Freight. It works just fine and is quiet enough to use indoors if need be. http://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/oilless-compressors/1-5-hp-58-psi-compressor-and-airbrush-kit-95630.html
  3. Happened all the time making that color. You have to watch the heat with the grapes/black grapes Try heating slower and/or a couple of drops of heat stabilzer. If the grape was looking grayish that's what happened. Try not to have to do more than one reheat.
  4. The so-called "standard" for sticks is 1 cup plastic 1/2 cup salt 1/4 cup softener. That's a good starting point. Unless you are do allot of reheats or pouring allot of white or grape colors, or keep the plastic hot in a pouring pot for more than 30 minutes or so, you really shouldn't need stabilizer. It is already in the plastisol. You can use salt right from the market or feed store. Non-iodized works best. You can use a blender or coffee grinder if you want to flour or make the crystals smaller. I always used morten's pickling Salt right out of the box. You can buy salt from a vendor but you'd have to pay for shipping. Salt is salt is salt.
  5. Try pouring a little hotter to get a thinner stream.
  6. Pretty much. They are cousins. I do know when Basstackle came about, they started with Bob's moldsand then started making their own.
  7. www.artsupply.com is the least expensive I have found at $2.70 per 2 oz bottle of Createx. I just checked and they're giving another 7% off through the 14th.
  8. Here you go http://www.dinp-facts.com/ This is what worm oil is. Bear actually has the best price on a gallon if you want to make your own scent.
  9. This is just one of many threads. Just type in respirators in the search engine. http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/16527-choosing-the-correct-respirator/page__p__125347__hl__respirators__fromsearch__1#entry125347
  10. I know M-F will send you a pint if you pay for the shipping. I think most others would too. It would be worth making a couple of calls. Jon's right (just this one time ) they all have ther +'s and -'s. You need to find what works best for you. ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and if you are going to be really getting into pouring, you need better ventiliation than just open doors and a fan.
  11. Gotcha. If you need any help with the graphics, shoot me an e-mail. What font is that?
  12. The Diamond Tail is a true hand poure worm. The body is ridged all the wat to the diamond shaped tail. I like it allot better than how you had it before. I would make "Hand Poured Baits" slightly small than the company name. Everything on the single page makes it very easy. One thing I would do, for sure.................retake all of the bait pictures. If need be, send them to someone to do. That is, in my opinion is what's going to sell your baits.
  13. Is it possible you damaged the cup with the injector? A small nick or chip in the glass can cause it to explode like that.
  14. There are a number of places that have it for $119.00 shipped
  15. I could be wrong, but i do believe once the distributor opens the 55 gallon drum, he/she empties it into the smaller containers for redistribution. This way they only mix it the one time. If you don't mix the first batch you pour correctly, it throws off all the batches that follow. The only way to "save" the remainder of the container is to either add softener or hardener. Whichever the case may be. You could add it to a fresh container, but more than likely you will just end up with more plastic that you're not happy with.
  16. Well, that answers that question. It would have been great, though if it did work.
  17. ................and if you order now.................we'll throw in a a gallon of craw scent............wait that's not all............. just don't call them Roboworms!
  18. Maybe some sort of suction cup? http://suctioncups.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=37&Itemid=52
  19. Try this http://www.tackleunderground.com/community/topic/18617-soft-bodied-frog-paint/page__fromsearch__1
  20. If nobody posted anymore, there wouldn't be any fresh stuff to tell people to "go look up" in the search feature!
  21. On the more expensive Japanese baits w/3d eyes I use Parma Liquid Mask. Works great! http://cgi.ebay.com/...e=STRK:MEWNX:IT
  22. ......and you can't beat their sinking soft (M-F) for sticks. Approximately, 30% less salt means better colors
