  1. But those who can't (or even tried) handpouring, can inject! Not trying to start a fight either, but most guys who inject have never even seen an open pour mold. Never thought I would say this, but you might be placed on the Endangered Hand Pourers List, Jim!
  2. $12 shipped for both molds......going once......going twice............
  3. I made a mistake on the big mold. It is a 9 inch worm
  4. 1-4 inch 1- 8 inch $15 shipped flat rate envelope, paypal, domestic
  5. 50 3/8oz heads w/coil keepers $35[shipped flat rate box, payppal, domestic I believe they are 4/0 hooks, but won't swear to it.
  6. You can try super glue or double sided tape.
  7. Yeah, I was thinking about both and was bidding on a few on e-bay which was starting to make me nuts! I decided to go with a new one from Coast Air after hearing good things about them from you guys. I got the Iwata HP-CS for $119 and a few colors. They also matched the free shipping that was offered by US Art and saved a few cents on the colors as well. Their site is very easy to browse around and replied to my e-mails almost immediately. I'm glad i went with a new one as opposed to saving a few bucks on a used one. This way I'll know how it is suppose to perform instead of wondering if it has a bent this or clogged that. Thanks for all the quick replies and helping me out with making my decision. Richard
  8. Thanks, I appreciate the help with this. I can see I would have been kicking myself if i bought the Hp-bs. I guess cup size does matter:yay:
  9. Perfect! That's just what I needed to hear. The CS it will be. Thank you Richard
  10. I'm about ready to buy an airbrush and after reading all the threads, I'm going with the Iwata Eclipse HP. I've narrowed down to two brushes and would like some advice The HP-BS comes with a 1/16oz cup, new in the box 75-$100 shipped The HP-CS comes w/1/3oz cup, new in the box $120 shipped The money isn't the issue. I just don't want to purchase one and then wish I bought the other. I'm just starting out with this and certainly don't have to worry about production. Thanks, Richard
  11. I have 75 blades left. Will let them go for $15 shipped
  12. Have you tried pouring the tail first and then the body? If you try it this way, some of the plastic from should flow into the body creating a thinner tail.
  13. They actually sell that kit $30 cheaper on e-bay than on their own website. Doesn't make sense with the fees involved , but here's their site: http://www.tcpglobal.com/airbrushdepot/itemdetail.aspx?itemno=ABD+KIT-4207T-MASTER
  14. I received those with mine as well. I don't know what they're for. i just cut them in half and use them like that. That tool is awesome!
  15. That was an awesome report, PP! I ALWAYS enjoy reading your posts. Thank you. Richard
  16. You can try searching for him in the members section and contact him through there. I know he quit making them a few years ago. I bought the last few he had and since sold them. The person that bought them from me sold them as well. Every once and while you will see one on e-bay. Maybe he still has a couple laying around.
  17. That's one clever idea! You do come up with some neat stuff.
  18. I've never used that plastic, but 1/2 the amount of softener to salt by volume is a good starting point. You can tweak it to your liking from there.
  19. I use to know a couple of "cuties" that wore fishnets that looked like that scale pattern. Sorry, Mark I just had to go there!
  20. You shouldn't need to do anything to maintain it. If you want shiny baits though, brush a little worm oil or scent in the cavities every 2 or 3 pours. I used one of the sponge sticks from Michaels. If you don't brush anything on, the baits will have a matte finish to them.
  21. If you are going to pour on a regular basis, you need to take the proper precautions. If not, you will most likely pay for it later on with health issues. You should not be breathing those fumes at all. Don't blow off the symptons you are getting, if any, to something else. If you didn't have these issues before you started pouring.........where do you think they came from? As far as headaches go, drinking lots of water does help alleviate that.
  22. I know M-F Manufacturing has in the past if you pay for shipping. I believe most others will as well. You have to contact them and ask.
