  1. Did you ground them from beans? That makes a big difference.
  2. I used them in trick worms in place of black flake.
  3. ah, you see there is always a solution! Thanks, BBC!
  4. If the patent is for sprinkling it in with your right hand I'll be in trouble!
  5. I have several molds from both Bob and Delw. They are the best in the business.
  6. I believe this TU member makes them http://www.predatorbassbaits.com/id43.htm
  7. Silver Sulfadiazine, by prescription only. If it's a bad burn they most likely will apply it if you go to the emergency room.
  8. AC and a TV is all you'll need. Yes, Domino's?, I'd like that brought over to the doghouse in the back!
  9. I could be wrong, but I don't think you attach the tail. The mold sits in a "notch" in the tail and then after it's dipped, you slide the form out of the tube through the notch in the tail. That's what I'm understanding from Del's pics.
  10. I saw an autographed FrankenZ Frog in the Sports Memorablia section on e-bay! Thanks for all your help and inspiration, Jim!
  11. or maybe, just Gone Fishin' The only inventory I ever have is what's in my boat!
  12. I think I have to agree with you, Jim. My partner just went nuts on e-bay and spent about $600 on the Basstrix baits. We have a tourny this weekend so we see how well they work. I had great success this summer with single side Javalon I made. I had no problems with hooksets and was able to use it like a jerkbait in the pads without tearing up. I used a frog hook with them and they never slid down the hook. I think the solid bait might just be the ticket. How well does the tube style hold up? I'd like the try making the tube bait style just because the process is so interesting. I think for production though, maybe a system rigged up to hold twenty or so "knives" dipped simultaneously"??? It's all about finding the time to paly with it. Hey Jim, maybe a closed for "inventory" sign could be in order?
  13. Nice work, Mike. Are you using a similar method to what Delw posted pictures of? Has anyone compared the tube types to a solid one poured in a single sided mold with a hookslot as far as acton?
  14. Last I heard he was finishing up school. He is very creative and has been most helpful to me. Maybe he is in isolation designing new baits???? Hey Zach, come out, come out wherever you are!
  15. ok, where is the video? Is the tail similar (melted) the way the hula skirt is attached to the Ika? Is the tail solid?
  16. That's a great idea! I've done a similar thing but used the oven with great results. That's when I was single and didn't cook. I'm not allowed to use our oven since getting married. What model heat gun are you using?
  17. We fished a tournament yesterday from 2-9pm. It was tough fishing and really didn't do any comparisons but we had 9 fish on 10 hits and got a nice 3lber on the Brown Watermelon/coffee flakes. The bait still had the nice coffee smell after 3 days. I'm going to try some watermelons to see if it causes discoloration.
  18. You might want to see how much longer it takes you to make up the laminates and go from there. I'm sure he doesn't expect you to work for free. Post some pics if you can.
  19. I poured some brown watermelon tricks and frogs tonight using some beans (ground medium) in place of black flake. I didn't notice any discoloration. I'll say one thing......it's nice not having the garage smell like a pizzeria for a change. I'm going to try some other colors tomorrow and test them out Saturday. I wonder.... if I call it Mocha Frapp will I have Starbucks sending me letters??
  20. You can always re-melt the plastic and aluminum molds last forever.
