  1. Just found it... quite alot of custom stuff here... I like the multiple pour Lee pots... EDITED: wasn't sure if eBay links were allowed here. Just search for complete lure business. And, no, I have no affiliation to the equipment or seller.
  2. bass1cpr, I really like that craw trailer... is it one-piece mold? tb
  3. Great idea, any pics of the turned prototype? Did you use wood, and if so did you treat it or coat it somehow before making the mold? TB
  4. Rockhopper, what about a Berkeley Power Minnow? I just measured one and it's a skinny 3" and looks like a fluke. I don't have a mold but I'm sure you could just make a copy of these if you can get your hands on a pack. TB
  5. Hi Mike, I'll be putting my order in this weekend. Your prices are certainly fair compared to what we'd have to contend with with shipping and brokerage fees. Check your PMs later today. I'd like to pay via paypal but need the addy to send it to. TB
  6. Very well put JM. Let's lock this one and move on. Keep personal attacks outside of public forums and we can all get back to what we are here for in the first place. TB
  7. Chuck, let's see a pour outta this thing! That's a great tutorial man. I've just started making epoxy molds for beavers 'n such but now that you've explained a 2 piece plaster mold I might have to give 'er a whirl... tight lines TB
  8. That's cool. Can't wait to see a pic of this thing... TB
  9. Hi all, I'm pretty sure I've read a post about it before, but is plastisol available anywhere in Canada? Are all you fellow Canucks buying from Del or Lurecraft? What's shipping like on say a gallon/5 gallons? Seems everytime I order tackle from the states it's shipped UPS or Fedex and I pay brokerage fees thru the t*ts and turns out cheaper just to buy in Canada in the end. Sorry for all the questions, I'm a newbie here. TB
  10. TexasBass1, well in hindsight I should have spun the flippers around 90 degrees like most knockoff beaver baits... they're just too difficult to get out of the mold without stretching the hell outta the bait. And as you can see from the outcome in the first pic, the spike at the end of those flippers stayed in the mold so no way to get them out now. Oh well, live and learn. These are just for personal use anyway so I won't be too picky about them TB
  11. sorry 'bout the large pics... forgot to resize. TB
  12. Well since signing up here I wanted to act on some plans that I've wanted to carry out for a while... learn how to dip tubes and make my own molds... I've experimented now with both and I'm friggin loving it! Been melting down old plastics that I'd probably never use again... it stinks like hell but it'll have to do til I order my plastic from Del. Here's my first crack at a resin mold of a sweet beaver. Thanks go to Woodsac for providing the tutorial here on TU for all to benefit. I have to fix a few things on the mold but not bad for a first try at it. What do you think? TB
  13. Thanks for the replies guys! Can someone point me to the tube cutter on LCs site... I can only find a skirt factory thingy for silicone rubber skirts... that ain't it I don't think TB
  14. Hi NBM, do you have any pics of your tube dipper that you care to post? I dipped my first few yesterday and I'm hooked. I remember seeing one a while back with a number of threaded aluminum rods sticking out of what looked to be a showed drain cap. Any pics or links would be much appreciated. Thanks, TB
