    Awesome Baits

do you have a carving machine or duplicator?
  2. No better way in my opinion. Make sure you have an explosion proof motor on you booth so you don't have a fire! And wear a good mask. I have used automotive poly from Napa auto parts for years. Its local and cheaper than most. My racks can hold up to 48 baits and sits or hangs inside the booth. The racks and booth will accommodate baits as long as 16" Dries in 15-20 mins. or quicker with a little heat.
  3. anyone willing to shoot or pour these if I buy the mold????

  5. anyone here making a shad shaped worm like or similar to Yamamoto? Looking for some for a buddy Thanks!!!
  6. Something to think about - Paache 62 sprayer - they have a few different nozel sizes and work great for spraying glitter! They will give you all the info you need. I use to use it to spray glitter on jigs and spinners. There worth the money if your spraying your glitter.
  7. I would like in on this next time!
  8. This is the one I was talking about. I dont have these in stock but they are available.
  9. Take a look here, http://www.worthco.com/fish/figure8.html there are also Lakeland, Rosco and a few others. Good Luck
  10. There is a reason this is hush hush. The guys that have these baits have worked hard to find there contacts, if they just gave you the contact info all there hard work would be tossed out the window. Also if you find the factory that makes them be prepared to buy at least 5,000 plus pieces. If you find someone willing to sell you smaller quantities they are probably not the original source.
  11. I spray automotive polyurathane top coat. I have a paint booth that vents to the outside of the building and I also wear a mask. So far I havent had any problems with fumes or getting sick. I would be more worried about getting the thinner or solvents on my skin than I would breathing the fumes. When in dout use extra precautions
  12. Make sure to use caution when not using the proper equipment. If you are using oil base paint you may have a fire hazard. Its best to use an exhaust motor/fan that is exsplosion proof. If your only using water base then just about anything will work. Safety First.
  13. yes we still have several unpainted bodies. I have had some health problems the last year or better. Its really slowed me down. You can contact me at mike@vanndalizer.com

  14. The one in the top of the pic is a sorta like a dt10. It has more of a one knocker sound. The other is similar to a speed trap.
  15. There is only one decent injection place here in the U.S. Kendik doesnt do the injection part or at least didnt a few years ago. You can get a mold cheaper here if your working with the right company but it still wont be as cheap as abroad. Minnows, topwaters, lipless, divers and so on. The baits made in the U.S. are a little higher but the quality is much better.
  16. Ditto! Great lttle show! See ya there!
  17. This is one that I painted for a customer.
  18. Try a #63 sprayer from Paasche http://www.paascheairbrush.com/cgi-bin/store/search.cgi?category=Specialty+Brushes+%26+Sets
  19. Well Im not sure if this will work with cedar but it works well with balsa. I use DEFT sanding sealer. Buy or build a tumbler that will hold several hundred baits. Turn the tumbler on and add some Deft sanding sealer. When the inside of the tumbler is coated well dump your baits in. let run for a while and then add some more sanding sealer. You have to check them occasionally because they have a tendency to stick together a little. After an hour or so add some more sealer and let it run. The liquid sanding sealer does two things: 1) seals the bait 2) the bait get sanded from the sanding sealer and the friction created from the bodies rubbing against each other. Presto! a few hundred baits sanded and sealed with no manual labor!
