if I were making this I would call it the "Shiver Bug" the ripple pn the back look like it just got the bajesus scared out of it. the Ghost Shiver Bug -
two ways. hand pour half of the mold with one color and let it set up for a short time. close the mold and inject the second half. or inject the mold with the first color and immedialetly tip the mold on its side pouring out access plastic. let set and inject the second half. I think you will find this to be a pain in the +++. but unless your injector is set up to push 2 colors at once this is the next best source. Let us know...

longhorn walmart sells a kit for around 50 buck, includes the tent,lights and a mini tri ppod for the camera. thats about what you will end up spending any way for all the extra stuff. gl mike

try a golf tee to start. you will have to cut it down to size and modify the holes after your mold sets

Well I got three of them they aren't going to have, I fished these craws over the summer and they are super baits, with excellent action. Unless of course the price is verrrrrryyyy good. LOL

OMG, your getting married?? I pray the bass gods you well. I hope that you are blessed with a woman that likes to fish for bass..I am one of the fortunate few that actually has a gal that love to go fishing with me, debarbs her own hooks, catches and releases all that she catches, rubs it in my face when she out catches me for the day, then says to me "make some more of those baits, they're great. good luck to you. angler310

Smallie gold with black back, lost it on the on of the rocky flats behind the marina. What color is your boat, I was on the lake monday as well. We probobly crossed paths and didn't even realize it. I have a Nitro 929 CDX green and White, I would be the fat guy on the trolling motor and the kid is 6'5" on the rear. Unfortunately the small mouth for the most part have moved off the beds. Will try to get back on the lake next weekend and hopefully the wind won't blow as hard as it did last Monday.

Hey Smallie was up on 3 ponds last week end with my nephew, caught a couple of nice smallies on the swim baits I been pourin. they work great. by the way if you happen to catch a 2-3lb smallie with a rapala x-rap in its mouth let me know. the kid tryied to hoist it over the side of the boat with an ultra lite and 6lb test. that was a quick 6 bucks.. angler310

Nova, I swear you are a genius when it comes to pouring. That just might be the answer I'm looking for. Also I' sure that it will be easier to handle the eyes. I'll let you know how I fare. thanks guys angler310

This is not a tube swim, it's a poured bait using Bob's 2 piece mold. I set the eyes in the mold then pour the plastic around the eyes. I did try dipping the head of the bait after the pour. it didn't work. I need to find a way to provide a protective coating to the eyes prior to the pour. thanks Angler310

I am trying to use 3D eyes on my swim baits as you can see in the picture. My problem is, the glue that holds the eyes together is reacting with plastic. The glue looses its adhesion and the eyes actually fall apart. I contacted the vendor and was told they are working on a glue that is compatable with poured plastics. In the mean time I have several hundred eyes I would like to use up. any suggestions would be appriciated.

Squigster, are the elements exposed on the bottom of the fryer? If they are you will need to find a way to cover them, I thought about using one something like that fryer and found that the element gets quite a bit hotter allowing the plastic to burn before the batch get to temp. angler310

if you have an issue with either one of these fine folks, a simple emaile to them will be what you need to do. i own molds from both Del & Bob. When I want questions answered about what I want or have ordered they respond, if I have questions about new stuff, they respond. You want something new you will get an answer, you have to be patient.

If the baits are coming out of the mold sticky, set them off to one side and let the set up for 24 hours. I add softener to all my plastic (I use Calhoun from Del). When the baits are warm and fresh out of the mold they are stickey, I place them in a shallow pan and let them cure overnight. They come out super soft and they are still durable. Add a little oil and scent you should be good to go. Mike

Dutch, they swim just fine on a ball head jig, I haven't tried the with the weighted hook yet, I did take a tube jig with a 60 degree eye and used a hitch hiker, worked ok in the tub test. Lakes up my way are just now starting to open. good luck. Saint, did you try the double pours with that mold yet?? Angler310

Ain't it the truth..once slim and handsome, now old and ugly we hide ourselves in our caves pouring baits awaiting mother nature to make up her freekin mind wether to let us out or keep us cooped up. I so envy the guys in the deep south.

Pouring is one of the few things that I have patients for. Fishing and my wife are close. I hate winter. It's snowing here today as I key this message. I waxed up my Nitro929 yesterday afternoon in hope of getting in the water next week. what a joke!! thanks for the reply. Mike

I like that procedure a lot. the two partioned cup for pouring will alow us to keep large quantities of colored plastics in larger pots until we are ready to pour. well thought out. angler310
