  1. Cool, that will help, again they look nice.
  2. What does section 48.0-2 (a )( 4 ) ( ii ) say ? I did not understand that.
  3. No I have been making my own jigs, I had a offer of someone making the jig heads for me at a price I can not make them for myself. (Time wise )
  4. Thanks David, just what I was looking for, but man 6 pgs and 3/4 of it is unrelated. LOL I have the Fed ID from other business. What about buying a jig head from one guy and buying a skirt from someone else and I put the skirt on, do I need to pay the tax ?
  5. Presto pots work better, they are bigger but you do not need to fill it, Cal, also if the stirrer is to fast it could pull the plastic away from the pour hole ?
  6. Were do you file for the permit to be a manufactor ? I read some of those links but did not see ( file here ) What about when you buy products to use to make the bait, hooks, do-it molds ect. we do not pay tax to get the items, do we also have to pay tax to someone when this all comes down ? Do you get to deduct the cost of material on what it cost to make the bait before you get the total selling profit ? say you sell a bait for $10, it cost $7 for material, profit $3 ? Does Uncle sam gets $1 or gets $.30 ? Or is that when you file taxes at the end of the year that you get to claim cost ?
  7. Those look really nice, How do you keep them from catching everything but the kitchen sink ? meaning they are bottom baits with the trebble hook and the hard tails snagging on everything ?
  8. I inject single and double tail grubs, shoot me a e-mail on what your looking for predatorbassbaits@charter.net
  9. Thanks for all the responces, I am using soft lead, mold is plenty hot I think, I will try the venting when I get time again.
  10. I know if I search I probably will find answer but man using the correct word in search and time, man it is just easier to ask, I have the new do-it darter mold and 1/2 of the 1/16th oz heads never pour full, just a bummer to get so many duds. I am using the gamakatsu 604 that I was told would work in the molds. any suggesttions ? Thanks Guy's
  11. I used the LC cutter, I never did get a good cut with it.
  12. My room is about 69deg. it takes like 6 hrs to de-mold, after about 3 to 4 hrs it is still sticky to the touch, I do not know the exact times but this is what I usually find. I am using oomoo25
  13. you can get a powder spray gun, I bought one, it does waste paint but works nice. I got mine from stamina, somewhere I seen one cheaper.
  14. I think it will be hard to suck all the smell out, good luck. Scent is one of the strongest smells. I pour in my detached garage with a hood vent and it does not do the job well. Make sure vent hood is as close as possible to were you are pouring, cooking, mine is probably 36" above the table and that is too high.
  15. I find that yamy sticks wight about 10.50 give or take, the salt you use will depend on how much you have to use, the coarser the salt the bait will feel crumbly, the finer the salt it will not be transparent. I found that the salt from a feed mill for animals works the best for me, you will need to try some salt and weight the bait to see if you need to add more or less I have tried about 6 different salts and all have different measurments to get the weight.
  16. I need one as well, predator bass baits, (mean looking bass ?) Let me know what it will cost...
  17. Cal, if you get the pot I have ( 6 qt presto ) it comes with a dial that you can adjust that goes up to 400, I find I need to be almost full on to keep my plastic at 350, I get spikes so I turn the knob down a tad. the pot your trying you have no control except to turn that screw, that would be fun with a bunch of hot plastic in it. The 6 qt works well with only 4 cups of plastic in it as well. you just need to stir like all of them to keep the salt and flakes suspended.
  18. start with 1/2 cup super soft a tad softener, 4TBS salt and pour the baits, if the salt is to coarse you will be able to tell this in the bait. I find salt is the hardest ingredient to get right.
  19. Sorry, I was refering to the 6qt pot, not the smaller frydaddy as I never used one of those.
  20. They are allot friendlier then a Lee pot, but you need to use about 1 qt of plastic or more to make it worth using.
  21. Sorry, that was the price he said for the 6.5, He must have made a mistake because I got a e-mail today with all the items he sells and it say's the 6.5 is $115 and $190 Saint is correct on the 5" model.
  22. Shawn is not cheap, the 5 pour is $110 the 10 pour is $185
  23. Ya My bad, I asked for 6 1/4 he siad it is 6.5 "
