if you will take a pair of side cutters and crimp the rivet to where it will not spin it will squeal like a pig. one of KVD's top tips.

as for the vacuum chamber you can use a pot like the pressure paint pots for a vacuum chamber if you are just degassing the RTV you could use a Mason jar and a hand vacuum pump like they bleed brakes with. I use both of these setups to acrylic impregnate wood for duck calls.

what about the rustoleum plastic paint that is made for plastic they sell it in rattle cans at home depot might be able to find a color to suit you they guarentee it to stick to plastic

I have 2 questions first off would or could anyoine be interested in custom making some shallow square billed cranks for me painted in a pattern that resembles the old rebel crappie color? Also, i picked up some balsa b's out of the bargain bin in Gander Mtn yesterday and they have 2 line ties one right above the other? anyone know what this is for?

Has anyone tried adding Hog Lard to their plastics? I see that some of the baits on the market say it has it added but wanted to check with you guys before i tried it.Thanks Buck

It has something to do with the way the voltage is reduced. A dimmer switch just limits the voltage causing a light bulb to dim the router speed control keeps the voltage constant and reduces the speed in some other way. it is just like trying to run a 12v motor with a 6v battery it will run it just not for as long as a 12v battery will before the windings become too hot and the motor goes kaput.

the dimmer on your drill press will burn the motor out prematurely. now how fast it goes out will depend on how much you run it. but i wouldnt want to put one on a very expensive drill press. you can buy a router speed control unit that works the same way as a dimmer but is safe for the motor. try woodworkers supply.
