  1. I wouldn't personally recommend an epoxy, as when it self-levels, it tends to pull away from edges, I'd recommend Dick Nite Lurecoat for that, or some other type of thin clear.

  4. I'm gonna call BS on this. Any self-respecting guide will at least give you a sample page to smoke over. At the very least they could have given you a chart/black back pattern to look at without giving any 'info' away. Besides, what more of a guide do you need than the Gallery here, or a Bass Pro Shops catalog? Your lures will look better, and you'll be more proud of them, which is paramount in my book. (You can buy my book for $12.95 too, free shipping!)
  5. You know, you could do both at one time. We definately need pics.
  6. If it's like the lead pots, it's just a few screws holding it on
  7. You don't have a tracking number, you have a delivery confirmation number, you also have insurance, so your best bet would be to contact the USPS again about filing a claim on that. In the meantime, talk it over with your buyer, come to an agreement on how long you two are willing to wait before you refund the money, and go from there. You're the one who will have to deal with the insurance claim, and receive the compensation, I'd say that once you start that process, it's time to refund his money.
  8. Well, silly you, Nil, that's because I read about squish molding on the Alumilite site Of course, the more I look at it, the less it looks like it might work.
  9. Look up squish molding on the TAP Plastics site
  10. The color recipies shouldn't matter, as plastic is clear once cooked. The differences come in with the additives. I have used Ozark, Calhoun and LC, and they went from stinking bad to LC's. Never tried MF, and hear good things about it, but like Saint said, LC is my favorite, and it's the best, so I'll stick with it
  11. You have to make your own
  12. The saddest part isn't the wage difference, it's pen-devil upper level American business owners that send the work overseas. You wanna be mad? Spit in their face. If you can get into their gated subdivision
  13. Now you know he has the mail from GA go straight to the Spam folder
  14. I've never used an Ardent, you can check Tackle Tour to see if they've done a review on them.
  15. Shame, but I just knew it would work on the Vortex principle, that was the selling point for me
  16. A vodkaman car! Hell, i'd buy that, you'd have to make it though
  17. Do a search on chrome paint, there are several companies that make a real chrome, from $8-$300 bottle, I think most of them dull when the clear is applied, unfortunately
  18. I see, I completely misunderstood your question, I think. Your teflon tubing is too short, after you cure the powder, not the guard itself too short or small on the jig! I have no answer to that other than maybe metal would be a better weeguard guard to use? I really don't know much about teflon's properties.
  19. Man, I wish our fish down here in NC got that big
  20. What did you specify for him to cut the weedguard at? Sounds like your new mold takes a larger weedguard than the last one.
  21. They were talking about that thing a few months ago in the wire bait section. Don't know if it was that one or not, but they never got their order.
  22. http://www.mikesreelrepair.com/ http://www.japantackle.com/ I hear BPS is going to start carrying some of the ZPI stuff
  23. He's not done yet, I just left some money over there. Skeet's Custom Rods is building it.
