  1. That reminds me, she went 'full time' with me at the Post Office as well, she was almost as excited as me
  2. Yeah man, Kim rocks, no matter how little or much you buy
  3. The Airrus rod material is Thermalon (Ultra-XL) or Hypalon (the rest), no clue where to get it, though. I can tell you Skeet is building me a rod, and it's taken him a long time to get some, not sure if he ever did, maybe he can help.
  4. I'm pretty sure that was a member here, goes by the name jmik, might want to PM him.
  5. Craig, what plastic were you using? Most manufacturers have several 'grades' or hardness of plastic, get some of that and try it again. You can also add a hardner additive, never tried it, but from what it sounds like, it's a pain to mix.
  6. I would think that there should be no problems with heated metal in powder, as that's how it works, but I had no idea there were different types of powder, either.
  7. George is correct, but you can also order supplies from the site as well One tip for those with Macintosh computers...when printing the labels, do not use the Preview viewer to view/print the labels, use Acrobat. The Preview app fails to print the del. confirmation barcode.
  8. Yeah, love TT, that's my other web home
  9. hehe, wait until you see what Shimano, and Abu have, among others!
  10. This topic came up a while back, search for the answer they came up with
  11. He's talking about a manifold, I think. Sounds great, but only if you're painting lots of stuff every day, it doesn't take that long to clean the color and ready for the next, but then again, I don't know how much or what you're painting! Look at your process and decide if 5 more brushes will help at all, or just a good way to spend some money.
  12. That's because it affects the weight, depending on the intended outcome, the entire bait would have to be re-engineered! As far as lips, I don't really care, honestly, I look for a high floater with flat sides, then rock on.
  13. This is like a meeting of (cranking) old men! I can't help but agree, though, although buoyancy would be the prominent factor, IMO.
  14. Looks like Ben and George have you covered. But the purpose of the fluid bed is to keep the powder agitated. If you'e ever painted stuff simply dipping it in the powder in the jar it came in, you'll notice you use less paint, have few to no runs, and don't have to stop and fluff the powder. One word of advice, do your research before you buy, rather than jumping in headfirst, it'll save you some headache, as well as wasted money.
  15. The Netcraft plastic isn't Lurecraft plastic, Kim told me that last year, but they won't tell her who's it is. Not sure about Del's products, but LC sells anise scent, which is different from worm oil. Oil is used to slick molds and slick up baits in the bag, scent, is well, smelly. On the worm oil, it will turn colors if left in the sun.
  16. Shawn Collins makes a dead ringer worm, but I'm pretty sure it's injection only
  17. It already has, sir. (But you know that ) Of course, I do the same thing, just BEFORE I use it the next time in most cases On a side note, I've seen some airbrush color manufacturers advertise a ;strong' cleaner or some such, any idea what's in there? I got a bottle of Wildlife Colors 800, but can't place the smell, but it works better than Windex, just too expensive for every color.
  18. It's not a Pro-max, but they're re-releasing the Black Max this year, except I dont' think it's the same, sadly.
  19. Mr. P, do you use that as a maintenance clean, and run windex through your brush between colors, and at the end of the day? Maintenance meaning once a week or something?
  20. A lot of the recent conversation is repeat questions on painting and such, there was volumes of information on the build process lost in the site crash we had in December (I think). If you've got specific questions, do a search for the answer, ask questions, or just start a new topic. You'll find there are plenty of folks here willing to talk about design and such because quite frankly, the paint is the easiest part. Repeatedly building a killer bait from a block of wood is the talent. I sure don't have it
  21. Depends on what you want out of it, I did mine in 98, and have made some improvements, just not gotten around to installing them yet, hehe Let me know what you're after specifically, and I'll see if I can help, here's mine:
  22. Yes, please send me pricing as well, through the PM on TU is preferred, and thanks.
  23. If something is out of stock at Stamina, they'll hold you whole order up, but you coulda called them and asked. If your stuff is in stock, they're good about shipping.
  24. What are your prices gonna be? Most of the molds mentioned can be had now from Collins
