Had some worm oil, and decided to not use it on a few bags to see how that goes, and for some reason I left it outside, on the old well. Either way... It's got a brown hue now, where it used to be clear, that's kind of odd to me, wonder what it does to baits, as most folks leave them outside in the boat, or at least I do! Either way, just an observation, unless someone has an answer!

Lurecraft.com has them, these are the one's designed to stuff in plastics, if that'll work. I've bought some of the kind you are talking about from Stamina before, if those won't work.

I'm currently using a mix of color from different places, and was wondering if they are similar. The main two are Del's Green Pumpkin and Rootbeer, how do these compare to these color sthat LC offers? Thanks!

Have you considered using the foil tape? It's already got a sticky back.

It works great just dipping it in there, that's how I currenly do it. I've been debating using one of the 40% off coupons that come in the paper to get an external mix badger at the craft store, and trying my luck with that.

It's thinned/cleaned up with laquer thinner, but you don't have to mix it.

The solid beads used for lures are brass, would those be heavy enough? I see they come in a variety of sizes, 1/8"-5/16" or so

Man, just checked Stamina for you, don't even bother, they're 3 times the price!! I think some guys here get the Spike-It and do it themselves, then bake the finish on, I've never tried it, although I do have some of the dip!

I understand completely, but I'm not gonna be forced to buy anything I understand that companies need protection, but more than likely if a guy is capable of making a certain bait, and is doing it, he wasn't going to buy one anyway, so chasing those guys down would be a waste of time and resources! I think the problem comes in when that guy making them for personal use decides to trade a few for something that some other guys makes, then it's out in the open. I rarely fish with something that I didn't make, or didn't come from one of the folks on this site!

I don't personally use it, but I've heard of folks mixing it in with their D2T. As far as where to get it - look up senkosam on this board.
