I've onyl foiled one bait, but I applied foil, made scales, cleared, scuffed, painted, cleared. Still haven't added split rings, hooks and fish yet, though

I dip them back in, or melt the lead off with a torch, and go for it again, I have no idea if the heat affects them, i've never broken one off, though

I think they recommend coating it with something, I wouldn't use epoxy, something thinner maybe.

That's about the price I've seen on eBay, I was ready to pull the trigger until my truck broke a few weeks ago - and still not fixed yet!!

I use the gel as well, so far so good! Just be careful, if you put too much on, it dries white!

I've got some bits kind of like that, i'm not sure what they are for, but I got them at harbor freight tools, they surely won't last long, though

Thanks George. Sounds like I could go get one of the really inexpensive external mix brushes, remove the needle and go for it.
