I have six wood baits I need to seal before painting, any thoughts on using Art Resign to seal the wood with? Pretty much they will be the only six baits I need to worry about and I do have the Art Resin in house, Thoughts?

I must be doing something wrong then, I can't get away from the second coat, I would absolutely love to. Are you applying super thick on the first coat? Are others able to get away with one coat with this? Thanks...

I started doing a couple of test baits with Nu-Lustre 57, has anyone had any bad experiences with either the 55 or 57? Do you normally apply more than one coat? About how long does it normally take to dry to touch? So far so good but it's taking around 24 hours to dry to touch. I know the measurements are right could it be the Minnesota cold (we keep the house fairly cool). It does set up nice after that time period, just seems a little long. Thanks

I have a couple of pretty empty Devcon 2T plastic containers(not the push type, the 9oz bottle type) that I was wondering if I could clean those up to store Nu-Lustre in. The Nu-Lustre came in plastic containers a little bigger than I would like to work with and was wondering if I could clean the Devcon plastic containers up enough to not have to worry about compatibility issues. Any thoughts, or are there plastic containers that I can purchase that would work for the Nu-Lustre - open to either option just need to downsize the working container. Thanks

For the guys that brush on DN, do you need to turn them afterward, can you turn them on a wheel? How long after a coat of epoxy like the BSI or D2T should I wait before I brush DN on? Just looking to try something new(for me), any help would be great.

I am in the process of designing and building a new paint booth. I went with a down draft design, my question is where should the air flow be coming from the top of the booth? Should it be right on top of the painting area, slightly behind or in front? I also have the same question for the intake(outflow) at the bottom of the booth. Thanks!

What would be suggested for the colors on a Blue Herring for bass? I see there is both a green back and a black/charcoal back is there a correct combo for this? Thanks,

Thanks for the ideas. I don't worry about it unless it completely covers the hangers. I do keep an eye on it but sometimes I miss oen that gets sealed, just looking for the ebst way to rid myself of this.

What do you guys use to remove the Devcon from your hook hangers when you don't catch it in time and it dries and hardens? Thanks

Thanks for all of the input. The first batch on the new motor had some issues, looks like it was more of a user error issue.

I went to Wally World and bought the standard rotisserie motor for my drying wheel. When I timed it the motor turns at 2 RPM (makes no noise at all). I am using devcon for my clearcoats, is this speed too slow?

Netcraft has a couple of plastic bodies they sell (4" and 5" 5/8 oz) that I believe are Bill Normans, anyone know what model numbers they are(Bill Norman models)? Thanks

I bought some unglued crankbaits and tried to glue them, but the glue will separate once I paint them, what is the best glue to use with AutoAir paints?
