Top water popper for Musky. Carved from WRC, wire through construction, hand painted glass eye's ( that was fun!), it's 5 1/2" long and weigh's in at two ounces. Come on spring! Douglas -

Wow! FF , I really feel bad for you. When you raise the level of expertise this high ,it's kind of expected all work to follow will also be at this level! But, here's what you can do. I would tend to agree with you that the pattern is on the wrong lure. In an effort to help you save face, I will be willing to take this lure out of circulation. PM for shipping address. Excellent work Pete, I'd expect no less from you. Now tell me, with that lure being wire through, doesnt it give you a warm and fuzzy feeling knowing what you just built in? I know if done properly, a glued in screw eye is just fine but , side by side, I'll pick the wire through every time!!! Nice thread, Douglas

That is exactly the reason for the extension. I might also add that this lure is through wired with 7 strand wire from the line tie to the aft hook. Douglas Here's a photo
