Hey everybody, Do you guys ever get burned out on making lures? I keep thinking that I will make lures to sell but I just don't know if I can. You put so much time into making them that their is a burn-out factor coming into play. It seems to be different when you close that line from fun to business. John

Foil based shad type cranks. All are 6 inch long wood bodies. Metal lips. -
I did buy some and use it. I took a while to set but seems to be an OK procuct. Long set time good for doing big batches I would guess. Only tried it once but going to break it out and try some different things with it. I have not run it thru the works fishing yet for durability.

No on the photo finish. Foil and paint layers -
This is the hardest one that I have done. 2 oz of epoxy per coat! 6 coats! Not a thru wire but has 1-1/2" .092 screw eyes. real copper foil base It is out of maple. A bit heavy - 1 pound exactly! 1-1/2" thick and the back acts as an extended diving plane. goes straight down. I haven't had it in the boat yet. I would run around the pond and feed out line tilll I got to the other side and started reeling:lol: ran nice. hit bottom in 12 feet at 30 foot of retrieve. Curious what it will do on 5 mph troll!!!!!! John -
Foil based glider. 8 OZ. Great little action. -
It is a foil process with an underlayment. I paint over it and remove some on the paint. It stresses me out not to sand thru the foil. It is very easy to do. Tons of epoxy to fill it out and get it smooth. John -
