where can I find unpainted bodies with a reflective silver inside of a clear body.Like to work with transparent paints for a different effect.

do not bend hooks this will only weaken them,like said earlier better to modify mold and you can still use it for both jigs.

I have never had to bend a blade,something must be wrong on how the blade is installed on the shaft.Do you have a pic of your spinnerbait?

I use lacquer for all my lures,I use it with waerbase paints and have no problems

Glad to have youo here ,as Cadman said we are all here to help each other and everyone any way we can.Wish I got into bass fishing as early as you. -
I got a sheet of lead from an xray door,was folded up.Sat in my truck for 3weeks,couldn't find a way to get it out.Finialy used my jig saw with a wood blade and cut into managable pieces.

The casting of the lure,the fine detail that we all put in making each one.Each one is just a little different but just the same.To know and get the satisfaction of knowing I made this lure and I think the members of TU make better lures than the big boys do!!!!!!!!!!!

to stop thinner wire from moving in your SB molds take a spring loaded center punch about half way between r-bend and head place punch close to where wire lays and punch only one side of mold this will close opening an dhold wire in place

when I'm pouring I set melter under paint exhaust with dust filter removed.I also use latex gloves you would be suprised how dirty they get.And I try to use a painters mask also.
