I was wondering if there is any information/instructions on how to build rods with some of the new features, such as no foregrip and split butt cork handles, etc... Or which available rod building book is the best. Granted, I have no experience in building rods, but I'm interested in getting started.

Yeah, I saw that one, but I don't like the "twisted" hook tie. I like the "R" bend better.
