  1. I have a couple of del mart mold and the 2 piece worm mold I have with the straight paddle tail is awesome since your in KY if you want to try it out let me know I don't pouR a lot of them except for my own use so I can spare it for a little while. MARK
  2. I use a lurecraft hot plate and one I got from Big Lots and they work fine but I can pour a lot faster and heat the plastic a faster by heating in a micro. I do love the lurecraft pouring pans though even with the microwave I pour into the pans before pouring into the mold. Good Luck
  3. I use them both but I have not noticed any really big difference I may use a little more stabilizer when I heat 536 than 502 but not a lot. I really like the texture the 536 gives the baits over the 502.
  4. I agree with swampbaits. I use colors from Lurecraft and try to get as close as I can to the color with as few drops as possible. I tried the color wheel when I started and for darker colors it worked pretty good but I had a hard time making the color without it getting so dark it overpowered the glitter.
  5. Thats since jan 1 had to restock for the spring

    Senko

In clear water I use a pearl and smoke laminate, and in Stained I use a dark watermellon with large copper and red flake and seem to do pretty well
  8. My guess is the same as james' I notice that my plastic will turn green on lighter colors when I cook it too long or too hot. You may try to either pour it a little cooler or runnig smaller batches if it only happens at the end of making a mess of worms.
  9. I have recently figured out why this wacky worm stik bait thing is so popular. I have been tinkering with it with store bought baits for about two monthes and either finally figured it out, found the fish, or got my rig lined up right but I have two questions for the "pros". What are the differences between Bob's and Del's stick molds? and Secondly I did not have much luck with the actual senko's and I do not know why, maybe they were a little bit heavier than the others and sank a lot faster. What salt content is regular for a slower sink rate. I have been experimenting and I am getting about 3 parts plastic to one part salt but is that normal? Thanks for the help.
  10. I looked at your sight and I didn't see any where where you even remotely called your product a "Mushroom Head Jig". It looks primarily like you just describe your product as being made with a mushroom head. If it were me, and I am not any where remotely near a lawyer, I would rework my description at the most but your product names I think look OK to me.
  11. I have about 5 Aluminum, 5 POP, and 7 RVT ones. I currently only use about 6 of them for selling the rest are just for my own use. Baits work good just are not necessarily pretty.
  12. Wow this is a lot of information to absorb the help here is awesome. Mark
  13. I am pretty new to hard core worm pouring but over the last six monthes I have been experimenting with making the two color laminate worms in single sided molds. My question is when is the right time to pour the second laminate? I was wondering what the experts used as thier rule of thumb on this to keep the worms from bleeding colors or having a week lamination. Thanks for all the wonderful help I've already gotten from this site.
