    I had a lexan lip break last night when my lure crashed against the rocks..... MY FAULT for fishing in pitch dark... Plus Im rusty with my casting lately.. haven't been on the lake much.. Now I dont know if I cut out a old picece of plexy glass thinkin it was lexan.. but Im about 95 percent sure it was Lexan!! I have tried to break this crap in the past with pliers.. all I ever do is bend it... ANY THOUGHTS!!! Good news is.. I just drilled out the old lip and put a new one in today! Is lexan unbreakable? I always thought it was the best you could put on your baits.

    Start out with finger paint and get a good idea of how the paint feels in your hands. Grap that paint... RUB IT IN YOUR HANDS!! FEEL its texture!! PUT IT all over your face!! Look at yourself in a mirror and see how the paint reflects light! See the subtle shadows it casts!!! LOOK DEEP INTO YOURSELF and ask? CAN I BECOME THE LURE PAINTER I WANT TO BE COME!! You have to become one with the paint in order to become a Masterbaiter! FEEL YOUR PASSION and PAINT YOUR WORM!!!!!! You dont just paint realism.. you live it! I like to watch BRAVEHEART BEFORE I PAINT every lure!! I get motivated by William Wallace! That speech gets me everytime.. Makes me want to paint for MY FREEDOM!!! YOU WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF AIRBRUSH TO USE!!!!! You dont pick an airbrush.... THE AIRBRUSH PICKS YOU!! Painting a lure is not about the paint.... its not about the airbursh.. its not even about the Talent!!! All you need is Patience... IMAGINATION!!!!! and ORIGINALITY!!! TO LOOK OTHERS IN THE EYE and SAY!!! NOBODY CAN PAINT A BAIT LIKE I CAN PAINT A BAIT!! THEN PICK UP THAT AIRBRUSH!!! AND PAINT THAT BAIT!!! .... man your givin me goose bumps just typing this..... I GOT TO GO PAINT!!!!

    I have really liked the results so far but I only got to fish it one day on Norman.. Had some success 4 fish in 5 hours.. Nothing special but overall a good day.. I think this will be a great fish finding bait when the water cools down.. the fish are super deep right now! So fishing is kinda tuff with 97 degree water temps.. Thank you DUKE POWER!!!!!!!!!

    Oh yeah I almost forgot.... Go back and forth on those steps! Example: 1. Green 2. Gold 3. Brown 4. Green again 5. Maybe more Brown. 6. OPPS too much Brown add some gold.. 7.. maybe more green.. you can keep going until you get to where your going.. HEY!!!! That sounds like YOGI!!! KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU GET TO WHERE YOUR GOING!!! LOL

    Jerry.. TU STORE!!!! We have alot of talent here on TU!!! Why not make a store all of us can use! All of us could donate items to stock the store.. The money you get could keep the site running.. I know its more complex than just that.. but everything starts with a idea. I will do whatever you decide.. TU has helped me make more than 60 bucks over the past 2 years.. Let me know where to send the check! The friendship I have made are priceless. But if you want more creative ways to make money without charging members... I think a TU Store would be a great idea.. Heck we could sell stock in the store and all of us have ownership rights. Or do a auction style listings like ebay and charge fees for the items listed.. If you build it they will come!!!! It could be big guys.. or it could flop like my pancakes! If that doesnt work.. I vote for a TU POKER SITE!!! We could just meet and play Texas holdem at night! Use the rake to pay the dues!
