  1. Thanks KC!! Its a mess.. I thought it was ok.. then I cleared it.. woke up today to find colors on the lure I never put on the lure!! LOL. Its really funky lookin now.. Im just giving him his money back.. he only paid me 15 bucks. not worth trying to fix..I will send him a free lure and his one of kind paint job.. I couldnt match this color if I painted the same lure 1 million times!!!

  3. I ran into a problem last night.. I prime this Lucky Craft CL 55 2 times... and the old paint that I scuffed kept coming through.. I did it the way I have done all the my other repaints.. but this little sucker was a nightmare... I just about got out the kilz paint I use to cover drywall stains.. what you guys think.... I know I could try it rather than post a new thread.. normally that is what I do.. try it and see if it works.. but Im being lazy tonight and thought this could be a interesting subject.. dont know if we have covered it before or not..   5. 15 to 20 sec... now that I got to see.. Takes me a 2 hours to find my wire in my shop!!! Then another hour to find the wire cutters... the only thing I have ever done in 15 to 20 secs...its make my wife upset!

  7. I have fished some foam lures before. never made them but I know these lures were epoxied in.. the screw eyes were.. I never had a problem with them.. I know through wire is better.. .. but best way to test it would be to epoxy the screw eyes in... Hook the lure to a car bumper... tie 50 pound line on it... then tie the 50 to your truck and pull... see which breaks first.. my guess is the hook will bend first... JUST DONT SAY "HEY YALL WATCH THIS!! before start your truck" Famous last words of all rednecks!!!...Im betting screw eye will not come out and the hook bends!!! but im just a rook..and this is about as scientific as I get! .. Heck let me know how it works out I have always wanted to try it but I dont have a truck that starts.. all mine are on blocks!... this could be a good subject for Myth BUSTERS!!!   10. I made some Shakey Head Worm hooks out of left over epoxy putty!! They look like crap but they work!

  16. Iwata HP BCS... .50mm tip.. most paint you will find requires a .50 tip or higher... I like my paint semi runny thick.. not as thin as water runny yet not as thick as runny nose snot!!! kinda between those 2 points !!. The "yogi bera" Rookie!

DID YOU SEE HOW CRAP EEE it was!! now as for your CROP EEE LURE.. thats one nice lookin CROP EEE.. Why the heck are you fishing for Bass with it anyway!!! ANY DIPSTICK can catch bass.. Look at all the dipsticks on TV showing us all how easy it is... Now if you want to impress me with that Crop EEE LURE.. Go catch a "Panderichthys"... THEN YOU've DONE SOMETHING!!! Dean will be so proud of this post!!! PANDERICHTHYS.... " now that's funny'!!!!

  21. I would use CEDAR!!! if your going to fish it... but that is what I like.. Its hard and easier to carve than most HARDWOODS!! IT FLOATS GOOD TOO!!! but if your just plain carvin and molding start with balsa.. easy to carve.. I would use Emron paint... you will not have to clear coat it.... IT WILL LAST LONGER THAN YOU IF YOU breath the fumes!!
  22. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!! IT WILL KILL THEM IN THE SUMMER MONTHS!!! REACTION STRIKE CITY!!!! I got some balsa baits I only used the hooks as weight.. AND THEY ARE FISH CATCHIN MACHINES!!! never sell them... EVER!!!! FUNKY IS GOOD!!!
