    Yall remember the post a year ago when someone asked if a bass would eat a TURTLE!!! Ok maybe yall said no!!! Heck even I thought no!!! But SEB said they would eat a TRUCK LURE!! STILL DONT BELIEVE IT!!! WE GOT IT ON TAPE!! I WILL HAVE IT ON youtube very soon!!!! EVERYONE!! MEET MIKEY!!! I got him hooked on this lure makin thing.. but he is so A D D.. he got bored making lures that looked like bait.. So what did he do!! HE MADE A FREAKING TRUCK!!! Then I had to bug Dean to death to figure out how to get the sucker to run!! The Rookie

    TJ...use a tack rag you can find them at Wal Mart or Lowes..... That is what I do... Now if you still get a hair on the clear or around the eyes!!! Take some sand paper... 1,000 grit.. or even 800... get the hair out after it drys... or just sand it down without getting into the paint.. It doesnt happen too often but when it does that is what I do.. Someone else can tell me if im wrong or right.. but I havent had any problems doing this.. The Rookie

    Yoda is right!!! However, Us poor folk down in the Tar Heel State dont got no hair dryin machine you plug in. Heck we aint got no power neither.. I just use our homemade squrriel roaster after the wife is done fixin supper. I turn my lures by hand inside it!! Just watch out for the squrriel hairs..less in you got a wife that likes to skin it before she cooks it!! Mine is lazy!!! After a few hours your good to go with that their clear glue yall like to use!!! If yall would like a squirrel roaster let me know.. My cousin gator is sellin them at the local flea market in Salisbury. The Rookie

    I really like the TN Shad with the Circut Board lip!!! It's my fav.. Cedar is a witch to carve that's for sure... But seems to be alot easier to seal up before you paint it. Both are poplar woods to pick from if you want to make your own lures.. GET IT DEAN!! POPLAR...
