  1. i was wondering if you still had molds for sale. I am interested in the big hammer and bass trix molds. let me know.

  2. what molds do you still have for sale. i am intersted in the BH and BT molds.
  3. Hello all and thanks everyone for all the great info! I have to agree with Del and ghost on a lot of different things. I have started a business in the past and passed the point of small business death (3 years.) Honestly it all comes down to promotion. Like Del said dont go out spamming because no one can stand that at all. But go out make a name for your self and while you do that make sure your company is legit. Start some kind of corp (yes this cost money but with a law suit for someones kid eating your bait and ending up in the hospital, they will take everything you have) . I am in california the state of the highest paying state in junk lawsuits so I understand this 100%. For me I am not selling or in the market now maybe later but already I have people asking me to sell them some of my hand pours just because of word of mouth. I have a lot of friends that constantly fish and pass the word along about my baits. One catches a large fish on a boat and everyone runs over and asks "What are you using". It simple get out there and promote, use friends with word of mouth. Word of mouth will make or break your business in my opinion. If you have a good product people will pay for it. And if they ask for free samples tell them you will give them a free sample with purchase of 100 or more baits. This will still give them the option of something free to lure them in (no pun intended) and possibly add orders. Most people that ask for free samples are not interesting in purchasing anything and never will be interested. 1 last thing. Treat your good customers very well and they will pass on the word. Look at Del, he is a great guy period and everyone says the same and I am sure this boosted his sales 40% at minimum. I like to look for deals but would rather spend an extra 20-40 dollars with Del because I know he will treat me good and give me the best service I could possibly ask for. Most people will agree.
  4. I tried putting a little color liquid in my mold before pouring. None of it stuck to the plastic and just created a huge mess that I am still trying to clean out of the cracks of one of my molds. But I learned, but you can never learn till you try. Good luck
  5. Great job..You have inspired me to go out and get a mixing pot...just talked to del today (thanks for your input!) and i guess i will be ordering my motor next week. I hope my setup comes out 1/2 as nice as your as I will be making it out of wood including the stand! Keep up the good work!
  6. OS Commerce can be setup securely. I have used it for many years for different clients and no one has ever had a problem with security. Del I hope your ISP finds the person that did this and reports them. It is their duty! If your site gets hacked, that means the ISP server has been hacked.
  7. i also would be interested in a beaver type mold but 5-6" like the one from bobstackleshack split tail. and a reminder the super fluke mold 5" 6" 2 piece and the 12 chamber stick! oh man they are sexy! great job
  8. I would second the super fluke and i think i would add a big hammer 2 piece but maybe with some logo on a surface somewhere? and 6" or 7" senko 10 cavity mold.
  9. i wouldnt mind doing some testing for you if you need. Also let me know if you will be selling them as there are a few i would be really interested in. and also will you be doing custom molds!?
  10. I guess I'm lucky I'm not married. I did (and dont ask me how) talk my girlfriend into doing the leg work while i pour. Have her trim oil and package all my baits. Guys ever figure out how to make the wives do the same? Let me know in case I EVER get married..hhahahahah and when is the best time to add salt? I usually do it right before the pour.
  11. Those are a lot nicer than my first pours! And how is your pot working out for you? I was thinking about getting one but I dont know if I pour enough to use it often. Keep up the good work on those baits. About the pot I know nothing about it and the plastic gun ..nothing sorry. Lucky I'm not married.
  12. charmerbaits you know what I wanted to put your theory up to the test and you were right. These 4mil bags are great BUT they leak really nasty. 1 day and all the oil on my bait had run dry and the bags smelled like scent. I squeezed a little oil by the seam and it dripped out. So sorry to everyone that wanted bags I am going to see about some laminate bags. Thanks everyone for your info! This is why i keep coming back..you guys rock
  13. well if anyone is still interested please let me know. PM me your info.
  14. Hey charlie can you explain to me what the difference is in laminated and non laminated poly bags? The box on mine says 6"x4" lami poly bags. I have been looking at different bags and i dont see any difference. Just want to know what the difference is.
  15. thanks for all the help! its really good info to know. one last questions though. When you guys throw it back in the microwave do you mix the part that sticks to the the pour area of the cup? thats what causes me a lot of problems.
