Old timers trick from many decades ago ........... In cold spring waters they would just cast a plastic worm out with very little weight and just .let it sit ........ And sit ...... And sit ....... Minutes at a time. Then raise the rod tip and move it about a foot and do it again ............ Tough to let it sit that long but those that did caught lunkers ....... They fished dark rock piles that stuck out of the water because it warmed first and warmed the water there first

As Travis said ........ I made some larger 1s using copper pipe with jb weld to hold the rod inside and made a rounded head ........ My molds were for saltwater use but I only dipped them once ........ Still will get back to it someday -

I've had great results with the glue jigs buy mine are larger for Stripers and specks ........... I use nail polish for paint and I use painted bank sinkers with the wire eye on the hook shaft for weight ..... Makes them fall flat instead of a nose dive. You can also change the weight by simply putting on a different size sinker without retying ....... Works great

I took some of the actual weights because of the ridges that keep it in place in the lure to make the mold ......... Just have to get the right size rod for the hole

Why not just get some silicone and make a mold for them ........... I did but I used a coat hanger for the hole and the hole was too small for the mold rod ........ I need to get some wire/rod material the right size so I can pour some more

I spoke to the folks before I bought a quart. It is xylene ........ I asked about shelf life ....... They said to mix a little Xylene if it got thicker

Yeah ....... Try to call it. They eliminated the receptionist and every option gives you another # to call. I just called Venture Tape ........ They are out of business ....... Sold out to 3M .......... No one seems to have the foil
