  1. Making plastics isnt my thing... 90% have never been opened...If you want a picture i can take it with my phone. email me at shaggz98@aim.com for inquiries. I prefer paypal as gift as payment... 2 quarts Vinyl plastisol from Janns(1 half used) 1 quart worm hardener from Janns
  2. Well i didnt answer your question about if they will tangle. They prolly will cast a mile and tangle. How long is the bucktail? If its no longer than 7 inches you prolly dont have a need for a second treble. Most muskies hooked on a bucktail hits the back and gets hooked on the rear treble. But if it is 7 inches or longer you might wanna keep it on there. Also a single hook might keep it from tangling. Yea you cheated,we all cheat on our lures. I have used zip ties on silicone and flashabou and after awile the zip ties wear out and loosen. I still think you should tie it on but thats your preference. Also you could add some glue around and on the ziptie.
  3. Thank you Spike a Pike-Good looking tail there, one thing though, you need too secure the silicone better too the wire, that rubber isnt goping too hold after a few muskies hit it. I might suggest a wire coil spring or a skirt body. EC- http://www.tackleunderground.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11791 it was my spike it blade dip thread. And here's the link too it.
  4. I haven't posted anything in along time so i thought i would show a few of my bucktails i have bee making in the off season. Most of them have double 8's colorado. One has a single colorado and the other has double 7's indiana blades. Any questions feel free too ask.
  5. EC the size 13's can be bought at MooresLures or Hagans! Here is a couple links of the new 13's some guys have made! Also there is a size 16 blade out there! the 13's are 4" long and the 16's are 6" long! I dont really know the thickness but im guessing either 0.40 like the size 10's. http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=39388&posts=12&start=1 http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=39688&posts=9&start=1 http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=39583&posts=17&start=1
  6. cadman thank you! Another question, kinda stupid though! Is the bottle big enough too dip the really big blades like the new 13's?
  7. Has anyone ever used the Spike-it BladeDip? http://www.barlowstackle.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=6&Product_ID=1862&CATID=70
  8. Dude you need too add a giant propeller blade or a flaptail too hte back of it,that would really make it noisy!
  9. You need too buy a pair of locking round nose pliars, i picked up mine off ebay, but i bet you could find them other places. I also use small needlenose vise grips when i make loops.
  10. Here's another one i made for my other bucktails and inlines. I using small hooks on the dial rods and sides, this one is a little bit more complicated, possitioning the hooks so you can get them off easily and so they wont fall off. I ran outa hooks after i broke a few off trying too screw them into the dials.
  11. Well i needed a box for my spinnerbaits so i did some searching for a cheaper method of storing them, took a few ideas and put together a cheaper, effective, and secure way too store my lures. I bought the plastic tote at dollarstore $4,dial rod $.59 & some left over plywood and screws. I used a file too notch out the grooves so they would stay in place. The box locks and has a handle,it holds about 20 spinnerbaits. I'm going too make another one or two for my bucktails and other inlines i have made.
