Good advice, trying to replicate something you have made weeks ago by memory is virtually impossible especially if you don't have one to look at. I give my jigs names then in a spiral notebook, I write down the description of the skirt color and how many tabs and or strands of each color and how they are placed on the jig whether it is a finesse/spider skirt or a regular style skirt which I call a "Flop Over" in my description. I learned this the hard way when I lost my last jig of a batch that I had made up a couple of years prior. Some patterns are slightly complicated and my Memory just ain't what it used to be.
