  1. i don't know if it's legal to do it,but i take the chance. they are really quick to answer any questions ,i have been served like a king and they have a lots of paint brands and they've got all the createx colors possible and price are really low, that low that i will no more buy my airbrush things from a canadian shop here is the link https://spraygunner.com if you know better let us know
  2. i think you need a water base clear .im sure ive read it somewhere
  3. what's that exactly ? urethane , polyurethane ?
  4. finally i'll not make any test,i was sure the welding rod was too soft but when it's just near a 1/4 inch long it's dead perfect not too stiff not too soft . spinnerbait wire would be ok but it would be too hard to bent for no superior result than the rod .and it's really cheap it's something like 25 cents per rod it think it's 16 inch long
  5. ive just found something cheap. 95 feet for 30$ http://www.lurepartsonline.com/Online-Store/Bulk-Wire/Stainless-Steel-Wire-coils.html but i'll also try the softer wire just to compare tks guys !
  6. yeah it's 0.062 to be exact .good idea. i'll will ask for it for sure.
  7. bob many musky lures are made with ss screw eyes that are at least 3 times bigger than .62 wire and they are way more hard to bent and when they are not perfectly centered we can bent them and lures didn't suffer at all. we speak of cedar that is at least 6 inch long .so there is no problem at all
  8. thanks a lot bob ,i think that's what i want.i have a knipex round nose pliers that i use to make my spinnerbaits and bucktails,it work really well for .62 just hope the wire spool is not too small,or it's gonna be a mess to put them straight .i just want something stiff enough,to make sure cranks will not untuned too easily
  9. hey which one is the best piano string ,stainless steel welding rod or something else ? the one im looking for is the one that look like what is used to make spinnerbait ,it's really hard to bent and have a kind of spring like action if you see what i mean. please be precise because there is a tons of wire style but very few can do the job. right now i have a rod i don't know the exact specs but it's really soft ,so i guess there is some kind of model better than mine ? ps i already know the one we can find at the major luremaking shop ,it's perfect but just looking for something less expensive .im sure these wire have not been created for spinnerbaits ,im sure they are used for something else but what? that's the question .... tks
  10. i have never play with urethane ,i like the lures that have been made with urethane .it's really thin but not as durable as epoxy.did you dip or airbrush it ?

almost all the spray gun and the airbrush with a fan cap and large nozzle (like my new one) gives the required cfm.just to prevent guys like me are not gonna get caught without enough cfm lol

    oil compressor ?

bob that's why cfm is one of the most important spec to look at.unfortunately a lot of co didn't say a single word about it.my new one need 40 psi but as soon as the tank need to be refilled i start to miss a lot of psi during the process

    oil compressor ?

look at that little model.unfortunately it look too nice to be available in america .you will never get 0.5 hp ,116 psi ,40 db with one without oil .

    oil compressor ?

it's kind of strange to see that the oil compressor are not more popular than the oilless .they outperform the oilless one in every ways .the only cons seems to be that you have to change oil . at least if the oil filter can do his job,im not so sure about that because i can't find a single reason to not buy one maybe im missing an important info about them ?
  21. unfortunately my brand new compressor don't deliver enough cfm for my new bad boy airbrush .i'll need at least 1 cfm at 40 psi.oil compressor are supposed to last longer and are generally more silent and they also have the highest cubic feet per minut per hp, that's why that option sound good to me but i have no idea if it's a good option for a createx user like me, because from the info that i have seen ,water base paint and just a tiny amount of oil is really not a good idea. other than california who use another brand of industrial air compressor ?
  22. ive just order mr hobby ps290 it's a made in japan it's almost exactly like the iwata hp th and it's less than 100 $ .if the reviews are real this will be my go to to shoot autoborn and covering big surface .can't wait to try it
