the main problem do not came from the treble hook. the reg flashabou is always tangled all together and they react really don't well when the heavy sun came into the game,that's the reason why big co like musky mayhem and all the others NEVER use reg flashabou! they use the one called magnum 1/32,saltwater 1/16 or sometimes custom cut mylar

just to make sure we are talking about the same colors,the one i would like is the chartreuse they use for any firetiger crankbait,the one that is located between the back and the orange belly.i am really surprise because i have receive a giant catalog from wtp,they have near 100 different colors but not a single one like the one i want.

i just use a good pair of split ring pliers and the paint stay on the blade,but if you have bad quality painted blades they will chip whatever you do.bigger size can also help you a lot

hey my fellows lure makers i am looking for a small batch of tape that will stay on the blade. i am not looking for something holo,nothing fancy just chartreuse. so if someone have a good contact please let me know ps i already try wtp without success cheers
