  2. i want to learn to fish a drop-shot in time for a tournament in the first of december. i know to use a light wire hook then tie a palomar knot then the weight but i dont know anything about presentation. ive seen lines form japan that are like 2 pound, the waters not that clear hear. if anyone could please help, what hook to use, where to use it, what kind fo worm, ect. thanks, willie525
  3. i would try to get a geiger count at least, if you can get one.
  4. try a football or flippin jig style head.
  5. i believe color can make a difference in like the base like black, blue, white gray, ect. but not as much as profile and presentation.
  6. i think rapala used to do that with herring skin, a long time ago though.
  7. for pike i would use a #5-7 indiana or colorado, maybe a willow if its clear water.
  8. this is one i got recently, my camera isnt working so i had to get a pic off the net. its fairly new, i think.
  9. eire jigs, or at least the ones we have, are VERY hangy in rocks. Footballs do good in rocks. what type of cover are you going to be fishing in?

  11. Nice fish! i had a smallie like HU's get off at the boat while trying to net him while trolling for walleye(its hard to swing one that big in with 8 lb. fireline lol).
  12. i got those new things yesterday in 1/8 oz. and had a 2 pounder hit it, a crappie(not sure but looked like it) and a 12 incher. i ws fishing it with a Yamamoto kreature in white over trees. Twitching it 6 in to 1 ft. below the surface. Has anyone else tried these yet? willie525

    Max Depth?

    reef runners are deep diving plugs for walleye, but have caught a ton of bass for us. there a kinda curved minnow plug. they will dive to 18 feet on the cast. we have lost them at 35 feet trolling with 8lb fireline, like bassmaster1974 said you will need a lagre round baitcast like a calcutta or garcia.

  21. i was wondering if it is ok to put testors model paint though an airbrush, if so how much thinner per part do i need to use. thanks, willie525
