tried a lot of differents plastic...i loved the MF supersoft...but didnt like their hard compound (smoke, turning yellow even with heat stab)...now i am with Caney creek hard and soft (so i can mix them for different textures) since few months...super clear, very few smoke, i just add few drops of heat stab because i pour from microwave, i can reheat sometimes 15 or 20 times (because i actually pour prototypes baits that are single RTV mold,so the baits comes out 1 after 1...) and i dont have any discoloration or yellowing problem....my last order last week cames to europe in exactly 6 days....ouch...a new record...the price seems highter at the first look, but in fact with the international flat boxes packages, i am under or equal to the price of other plastics...i 'd just like to see in the futur bigger sizes, like 55 gallons drums to start my buisness baits with this great product.

hi again, i usually prefer soft plastic (and sometimes i add softener in the soft plastic to get specific action) and specially MF since many years to pour my baits, i am a saltwater fisher and seabass is my main target.. last week, i was testing one of my prototypes for the first time, and i poured them with MF hard plastic...the action was very impressive, with strong vibrations (like a swimbait), with pronounced dry animations, very different that what i usually use in competition....the result was without appeal, seabass loves them, and we try a lot of classic softbait killers, but only this one caught fishs... here the video of this day, hope this kind of lure could work on black bass i will continue to work now in this way: testing a prototype with hard and soft plastic when its possible to switch, and with the same color and attractant of course, to see the difference.. this lure was injected with twinjector, and my molds are made with RTV red (the stronger shore), added with river sand to make them stronger....and injecting is nice in this way...i could put photos of molds if someone is interested on how to make injection molds with RTV... ps: i just received my gallons of Caney creeks plastic, and in next days, i will pour and test this new plastic in new prototypes...i will share my experience in the good topic. ++ sorry for mistakes in american speaking, grenouille, the bad french frog

hi guys, i presume most part of you using presto pots on US 110V, i d like to know if someone here uses presto pots on european voltage 220V, and if there is some tips to use them , perhaps with an electric converter who could support the Watts...because we have nothing like presto pots in this price in europe...with reliable and accurate thermostat... i asked Bears about how many Watts take a presto pots, he answered me 600W but after some researches, i saw it was about 1200W per presto pot... could someone confirm me the real Watt for a pot? ...i intend to use 2 presto pots at same time, and i dont want to transform my pouring station in a hell fire...

thanx a lot, Powerworm, i found it and ordered, hope it will solve the problem...translucid colors are a must here in france during summer

thanx guys for answer, do y have a link for "viton" and a link for the good size of O ring on mcmaster or granger store? i tried to find but was lost on their website...

Hi guys, i 'd got a recent problem with my hand injectors, specially visible when pouring translucid plastic. a kind of black deposit was visible in lures after injecting. i suspect the problem comes from the O ring and not the aluminium itself.. my hand 'jectors comes from Bears and never had this problem before since near 2 years... one time, i wanted to clean my injectors with Acteone and for sure the problem comes from that(noob) mistake? if someone could illuminate my lantern, as we say in france, it would be great appreciated..thanx

Hello all...i am a French handpourer and i follow your great posts since long months....^^ thanx a lot , the froggies learn a lot with your great councils... for my first message, i make this topic up because i tried a lot of sealants( devcon, PU and others....) . So, i would like to test Elmer's Glue on my new synthetic plaster Molds....but as we cant find it in France (hard to find something about tacklefishing on our country) , i would like to be sure i will buy the good one.... i found somes on Ebay, but i hesitate between 2 types of Elmer's glue : - Elmer's Glue all Multi-purpose and - Elmer's ultimate Glue polyuethane (with a blue bull on the label) what's is the best? thanx a lot Grenouille, the French Frog ^^
