I was watching the bass champs tourney or something like that on tv and one of the guys broke his rod on a 3 pounder that had buried itself in the weeds before he could set the hook. I swore out loud cause I thought he had a monster like this one. NICE FISH -
I have been taking advantage of the rainbows. You know where Eagle Nest is? I've been ice fishing up there several times. We've done pretty well every time.

Have you ever heard of thinning paint with Windex?? I have heard of cleaning airbrushes with it but I just read that you can thin with windex or water. ever tried?

For airbrushes try to find the post titled, "Badger Garage Sale". Badger is having a sale on some air brushes and stuff so I'd suggest that if you're looking to get an airbrush.

The snow is starting to disappear here. Its been high 30's to high 50's. My dad and I are getting a new aluminum boat this spring and doing a bunch of fishing trips. I can't wait... But in the mean time I'm heading up to Lake of The Woods in Minnesota for some ice fishing next month. Should be loads of fun. Bunch of my relatives are going too.

If you powder paint you could put some of the paint in a flim canister and poke a small hole in the cap. I haven't tried this yet but I think it would work for small speks of color.

If it's the right pine I don't see why not. I asked about pine like 2 weeks ago because its the most common wood in NM. If you get expensive not grainy pine it'll work. You aslo have to let it dry because it absorbs moisture or something like that.

I don't use my rod's enough to have to clean them.... yet . There are many more lakes around me where I'm going to college .

I made these yesterday and the day before. They "poof" like rabbit zonkers but their shorter so they don't have quite as much action.
