  6. On the spindle sander take a look at Home Depots RIDGID Oscillating Edge/belt Spindle Sander. For $199 you get a belt and spindle sander. Have had mine for 6 years and still happy with it. Brian

  8. If you are only going to do 2 or 3 baits a year and don’t want to build a turner. You can turn them by hand making 3 to 8 rotations a minute until the epoxy has set then hang to cure. A multi-section bait is a little harder to do this with as you have to keep the sections from touching each other. Brian
  9. Here's a sample from one of the boxes. The musky jitterbug was one of the worst. I cleaned it with some glass cleaner and a magic eraser. Thanks Brian
  10. I inherited a few tackle boxes from my grandfather they were in his cellar for 20+ years and most of the plugs are covered in a white waxy film. What is the best/safest way to clean them? Thanks Brian
  11. The wax I use is a is a polishing wax called Renaissance Wax. You wipe it on with a paper towel then polish it off with a clean towel. It will leave a thin coat of wax on the rod that should not push down the rod. Renaissance Wax is about $20 for a 7 oz. jar at most woodworking stores (Woodcraft, Rocklers, Ect.). I am using a jar I bought 5 years ago and have only used a 1/4 of it. Brian
  12. I would try waxing the rods before each time you use them. I do this on bushings when turning pens so the CA glue finish won't glue them to the pen tubes. Brian
  13. Here is a link to a thred on spraying 2 part epoxy on a traditional archery site I am on alot. Hope it helps. http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=041603 Most of them use Thunderbird Epoxy bow finish http://www.tbirdarchery.com/
