  1. What is in the top right of the first pic, by the towel. I like the blade on the 6th pic. They will catch fish and I think you did a good job.
  2. This thread reminds me of my brother inlaw. He heats his lunch behind his radiator on his truck. He made a wire rack on the back of the radiator. Wraps his lunch in tinfoil puts it in always has a hot lunch. Dry your mold on your way to work.
  3. Are you curing your jigs before hand. Use a hot drill bit in the hole. The back of the drill bit melt the paint out. Or use a dremel it moves fast and wont crack the paint. I have never had luck curing with then in. I have heard of tin foil before.
  4. If I look back It has taken me about 1 to 3 hours using a drill press and dremel per jig. depending on how much detail I want. I do start different than thill I place the hook in the mold first and hit it with a hammer. leaves an outline of the hook and cut from there. If I made just a round head I would dremel out the hook slot. drill a hole with the drill press. Round it out with the dremel. If that is all you want that might take 20 to 30 min.
  5. Cutting A mold is not as hard as you think with the right tools. I have cut a couple do-it blank molds making some thing unavailable. It takes time but a model bait takes time to and then there is cost involved and time when others do the work for you. For me this is a uncontrollable hobby. I spend countless money on it. Now if it was a business and I sell jigs I would pay others to do what they are good at. Part of making a mold is knowing I made it from the start. My own Invention. With exception to the hook at least I can pick the hook.
  6. HI. I guess we are nuts.....
  7. That fan line on the microwave is a good idea. I like the setup. Gives me a few more ideas being new to pouring plastics. Do you still use a respirator?
  8. Count me as intrested. Busy time for me but would like to try.
  9. I dont know if you want to make them but if you take a coat hanger straighten it and put it in a drill. Take any wire say stanless easy if it around .026 wire. stick it in the drill to and tighten it down. Use a peace of cardbord to protect your fingers. Start the drill rapping the wire around the coat hanger. After you make a long section cut it in small peaces. Now to make it easyer for tying coat it with epoxy. I have used them quit a bit but if you dont want to epoxy just use a little tape.
  10.
