My littlebrother`s design! He had an idea inspired from Thin Lizzy`s "ChinaTown" albumcover. He nagged me about this for 3 weeks and to get rid of him I just painted it.
"Savage" jerkabait. Handmade, handpainted, slow sinking, 14 cm 85 gr. This pattern has haunted me for a long time. It`s out of my system now, finally....
Snootherfish, willie525: Thanks! I dont have the lure anymore. Custommade and pimped for ALQ a customer in Sweden. I hope he get a boatfull of pikes with this one. The lure is burnin hot!! LOL
Thank you!
I use acrylic paint. I first paint a yellow bottompaint with a brush. Then I paint red with a special tool almost covering the yellow. The red has to be thin so the yellow shine through creating an orange tone. Then I take my special handmade and customized tool and dip it in black and "force" it on the lure. It is really hard and complicated to describe how I do it. It`s an very old technique that painters use to create different effects. It has taken me years to perfect the effect and to create and develop the tools. You know, tests and tests and test....

Just keep on doing them lures. Your creativity will boost when you practice every day on painting and so on. Dont compare your lures with others builders, just concentrate on your own development. Get ideas from others but do your own thing from those ideas. Dont give up, just keep on.
