    squids

been thinking about the squid run comming this spring(may) been building some poppers and spooks..used propionate to seal..wish I'd tried this stuff when I first heard a couple of guy talking about it on other sites. so far I'm loveing this sealer...poppers 1.5oz just over 5 inch and spook-like other is 2.5oz and 6 inch...I guess a real spook the eye tie would have to be under the nose:)there cypress wood...the spook has a 15 gram tailweight after testing I'm thinking of putting a 13 gram tailweight in...
  8. thanks everyone for the input earlyer, I tapered the face so it glided better, looks good..I think more operator error than the plug:lol:not a really fancy shape but the bluefish won't care..next ones I build ,I'll sand and paint better:) the other sides blank no eye:)
