I have seen some baits poured with a metal turkey baster where the molds would not fill completely. It nseemed to work ok but was a little time consuming, I bet it would work better with del's recessed molds as you have more room at the top of the mold

Hell the popcorn salt I use is about 1.50 a pound. I have used almost every type of salt out there and it is by far the best salt I have used yet. I get from a local organic store, they sell it in 1.5 lb bags. i use a small tupperware container and only use about 3lbs at one time in the container i still have sealed bags of it from months ago in the garage with no problems and it's well over 100 degrees out there during the day. Your molds are the biggest expenditure, but once you take that hit, your cost per bait comes down significantly.. It is very very addictive, super fun to do and like others once you get it down, you can offset your cost by selling some to friends and other fisherman

Hell I see nothing wrong with it, what the difference between jello sugar and water or plastic salt and flake?...heck I know guys who grind up fish and use it in their soft plastics..now that i might be a little upset about

I have been making my own baits for a while now and there are a ton of guys on here that make and sell them, some are better than others. I fish them everytime i go out and they never seem to disappoint. The hand pours from some of these guys are even better than the original GY's due to varrying fall rates, softness and color selection. don't waste your 5.99-6.99 on the Gy's when there are so many out there for half that price, some of the guys who sell are even willing to send out some samples Use any color you want as long as it's green pumpkin candy:)

Man I like the video but hate the hook choice, One thing I can tell you from personal experience is that weedguards on wacky rigged hooks will cost you fish. Not sure why but it does, sometimes it just interferes with the hookset, I also think it reeks havoc with the fall rate depending on what size hook you use. IMO, the best wacky rig hook out there is the 2/0 octopus hook, it's small, doesn't effect the action of the worm and the fish never know it's there, i rarely miss a fish that hits a wacky rig using those hooks, sure i'll get hung up and lose a bunch of hooks depending on where I'm fishing, but the results I have had speak for themselves. I have seen countless amounts of guys in tournamnets lose fish using weedguards, again just my personal opinion, what works for me might not work for others. I just think the offset of the octopus hooks really allows you to get that hook in good As far as fishing the wacky rig you need to experiment, don't use one method, sometimes deadsticking works fantastic, other times bumping it as it falls all the way down is the way to go, sometimes you just let it fall and do a slow twitch. Having someone say that this is the way you fish it .... isn't catching as many fish as he/she can, sorta like saying you throw out a spinnerbait and reel it back to the boat...let the fish decide what they want and how they want it. You will catch more fish, hell somtimes I just nose hook a 5 inch stick and jerk it back to the boat as fast as I can. One thing is certain...there is no wrong way to fish a wacky rig, again JMO

That's my suggestion, I would drop shot the hell out of them, I love fishing my own worms, but when it comes to dropshotting there is nothing better than a 4 inch springworm. http://www.productolure.com/proddetail.php?prod=SW4100. There are many serious money earning anglers that fish this worm. It's simply deadly when other lures fail to produce

Oh and I never have to order any softner or hardner with the mf ss. The complete package when it comes to plastic

you can also achieve a similiar color with 4 ounces plastic some pearlescent (liquid) and a some straight silver mettalic flake. It's super nice, I add a small bit of blue neon hi lite and a few drops of transparent blue for good measure. It's an awesome color. I should have a picture somewhere or maybe even a fluke or two with that belly laying around, I'll see if I can scrounge it up

I have used all 3 as well and IMO MF SS is probably the best plastic out ther when you consider all factors, consistency, price, shipping, softness, handling etc etc. again just my opinion

technically, you have a tracking number and insurance, so if it goes to paypal, they could request you give the insurance claim to the person buying....do not refund the money, you could wind up out of a mold and cash. Just explain what you have to the seller and explain that if usps can not come up with anything in 30 days, that you will file the claim, at that point it would be safe to say the package will not arrive and can refund the money.... bad part is you will probably get bad feedback either way, despite the fact it's not your fault

It's two colors, one is simply a clear polastic with pearlescent and gold green and black flake, the other is watermelon green 3 drops with gold smoke pearl 2 drops and a drop of pumpkin chartreuse, same flake amount and color glad i could help, that's what this place is all about right?
