  1. You may want to check your local Auto and/or boat repair shop for a different looking fleck.
  2. You might want to try a boat repair shop. They also have some colors not supplied by the usual supplier's.
  3. First time I've seen it. Looks interesting. It would be handy for small batch runs
  4. When it comes to taxes, check with your state as any finished product is taxable as salable inventory. As long as you have raw material, you can take a tax deduction. Just don't hold a lot of finished inventory at the end of the year.
  5. Go ahead and get the tip mold also. ( you're going to want it, trust me.)
  6. I just ordered the tip mold for the 702. It is by far the best craw mold out there. It may take a while to get your order but it's worth the wait.
  7. I use natural search salt and put it in a blender to powder it. It stays suspended in the plastic better. That's sea salt.(spell check nailed me again lol.)
  8. anybody know how to post a pic using a dell desk top? This computer is smarted than I am. Also when I try to post an image it says file to large. Go figure
  9. I have a sample of a 10" stick bait and can't find any information about it. It has the machining lines on one side and it's smooth on the other side. Also has a tapered tail. (Almost a pencil tail.)I'll try to post a pic.
  10. Locking pins are a must. Don't trust myself without them.
  11. Can't go wrong with the blending block when you need numbers.
  12. Try easing up a little on the softener and lay them on wax paper for 48 hours to cool and set up. That's what we had to do and it works real well.
  13. I like the dual injectors. As far as the laminated left over plastic, I just add black and use it for my black color baits.

    silicone molds

I have 60 open pour silicone molds I'm getting rid of. They are just taking up space. All are used but work fine. Made by Lure craft. I can email pics, just can't upload from my phone. They are listed on ebay and there are pics of all of the molds. Thanks,
  15. Cooked in has always produced better for our baits.

    jig mold

1 3/4" aluminum jig trailer mold. I can't get the picture to upload. It says file to large. I can text or email pics just send me your info.
  18. Thanks Vodkaman, I just ordered a veg-o-matic. (Won't use the wifes.) That may dice them to the right size.
  19. Does anyone know of a small grinder that is used to grind the leftover plastic ? Cutting with scissors is a pain.
  20. We Farm it out and pay .12 cents per bag. To get our tubes to stand up in the bag. We took a hair pick, removed every other prong, slide the tubes onto the pick, bag over tubes and remove.
  21. We mix our color to the plastic before heating. It's easier for us to pour what we need as we mix 1 gal at a time of our best colors.
  22. Make sure you get a reverse printed laminated bag orherwise, the print will start to peel away from the bag.
  23. The 3 oz is much easier to work with. I would start with that one and work my way up if needed.
