  1. Bandits are rarely still found with Mustad Triple Grips. They now use short shank black nickel #6 VMC hooks, Mustad short shank #6 Trebles, or Eagle Claw black nickel #6 hooks. You will find baits with all 4 different hooks.
  2. Maybe you are right? It may be 10 minutes before it started to sit. I left my etex in the mixing cup untouched for about 10min and it hardened immediately...didn't know why but I haven't chanced it since. Maybe it is the mixing cup I was using. I use polyester glitter too and have never had a problem. Weird deal...
  3. You may have let the etex sit in your mixing cup for too long. If you let it sit still in the cup for 5 min without mixing then it will harden immediately. Etex must breathe in order to slow curing time. Not too sure if it was the glitter?
  4. What did you use to get the eye sockets? LOOKS AWESOME MAN!!
  5. You guys are good! Thanks for yall's work to get us what we need!
  6. Wild Shiner is the original name.
  7. I need to know what alligator clips are the strongest for clipping onto the small eyelit of a rattle trap. I need a link to strong alligator clips. Also, what is the strongest cleat coat for traps because the epoxy I use will not hold onto the sharp edges of the bait. ALL HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED! I have been pulling my hair out with these traps because I can't seem to get them cleat coated without pulling off the epoxy around the eyelit. Any tricks???

    14" Perch

How do you clear coat such a large bait? LOOKS INCREDIBLE!!
  10. Air temp and humidity plays a factor. Spray slower and not so thick with the Fusion. If it is your D2T that is doing it also, then let it cure for 4-6 minutes after mixing before you begin to brush it on. You are trying to apply the clear coat too quickly once it is mixed. Give it more time to cure before applying.
  11. That is amazing!! Seriously!!
  12. Jimmie, What is your last name?

  15. Does anyone make buzzbaits with rusted rivets? It makes them 10 times louder. I want to buy some from anyone who makes em. I don't need skirts or a painted head. Either way...just want a good performing buzzbait in 3/8 or 1/2oz with rusted rivets. Thanks

    Bluegill Rip Shad

Thank you! The lure is called a "King Shad" by Strike King who bought the rights to sell the lure from ABT Lures who calls it a "Rip Shad." I painted it in Bluegill if that clears anything up.
