    Waspi head cement

I don't know what to tell you as I don't use any on my hair ties.
  2. before you do anything with them get some vinagar and clean the heads in it, rinse and dry really well then heat and try to powder coat them. A friend who used drop out spray had that problem and did the cleaning in vinegar and it took care of the problem

    Spinrite

when I had the old Do it tail spinner I used the .030 wire form and a 2 or 3 colorado blade. Sounds about right!!
  4. the only gold I have is Pearl Ex solar gold you mix it with clear powder paint

    Swannundaze

It's used for making segmented bodies on flies. I have some and have used it but prefer real quill for bodies. Try it and decide for yourself.
  6. You could always use the Pencil Sinker mold and lay a think wire, close the mold and hit it with a rubber mallet to make the groove. Then mold it with a wire just like the Lure Body mold Pencil Sinker Sz: 1 1/4, 1 3/4, 2 1/2
  7. A friend on another board did this video on different markers it takes a while to watch but it's worth it! https://youtu.be/Bf_4WY4R8-8
  8. Would that be the Eagle Claw 630?? That's the heavy wire version of the 570 and Capt hooks has those if it's the right one.
  9. The only thing I'd watch with aftermarket tails is that you don't get the water too hot because you could crack the hide membrane and all the hair could just fall out. If you use an aftermarket tail you want to soak it with a couple drops of dawn dish soap. The wetter you can get the hair the better the dye will take. The hottest water I use is 140 degrees, I'd drop to 130 and just let the tails sit longer in the dye. As I said before I use raised letter canning jars for my dyeing - big tails you'd want a flat pyrex dish and buy it for yourself don't take the wife's!!!!!!!
  10. I find that using willow leafs on in-lines can be bad. You're using Stirrup clevis's and it anytime I've heard this it's the tip of the blade gets stuck in the Clevis. I'd use a folded clevis and instead of the willow blade get some big swing blades, which have more of a rounded tip.
  11. Now that Do-It has discontinued the Eagle Claw 1623CR hook and seems so has everyone else is there any substitute out there?? Or get the regular 1623's and do some kind of wire wrap so the hook won't spin in the lead?? And yes I've tried Ebay!
  12. I use a Tetra Whisper 60 that I got at Petsmart and it will run 4 - 2" beds and 2 - 4" beds at the same time. Got it on sale, I used instructions from Cadman to build my fluid beds.
  13. Been using tin foil for years just make sure to remove it before baking the heads
  14. Just saw one of those on the bay site

    BLADES

Now that I see sizes you have size 0,1,2,3 and 4 in the swing blades hammered and 1 un-hammered. I worked prices at Hagens for 100's of each size and they work out at 0 - $5 1 - $6 2 - $8 3 - $10 Colorao plain nickle size 2 $6-8 per 100 Looking at the box you probably have 300 of each size. Would you take $130 for the whole box including shipping?? I can get them from Hagens but I know you're trying to sell them. Let me know! Thanks.
  16. As Cad said you can find the 3/8 and 5/8 all the time on ebay. Of course some want BIG money for them but you can find them reasonably. I can make 1/4, 1/2, 3/8 and 5/8th. If you get one check with Mustang Wire - I picked up 1000 wire from a special project overrun for less than a 1/3rd of what they cost! Good Luck!
  17. I know how you feel about the reels but sooner or later you won't be able to find them or parts anymore, ran into that with my Shimano spinning reels but got way lucky!!! Try some other reels so you're ready when you can't find em anymore!!

    blades

You show a lot of blades but you don't list sizes! 100 blades for 5 dollars can be a bit high when you can go to Hagens and buy bulk also. Can you list the sizes and if they are brass, nickle what ever?? I know a bunch are minnow blades, some would say swing blades but I have original swing blades and these are in the same league. Let me know what you have please. Thank You

    Various molds

You show a lot of spinner blades what sizes are they and how much?? You also show nickle and brass slide weights - what size and how much?? Thanks
  20. One reason you may be getting the wobbling is you're attaching the treble hook with a split ring. That split ring lets the treble move way more than if it was attached directly to the wire. You definately need a larger bead.
  21. Have a guy on another board that's looking for this grub. It's an old Yum 1 1/2" grub in neon oil Showing the length at 1 1/2" When it's stretched a little you can see it's like the old ring worm baits.
  22. Send them an email or call and ask about what you're looking for - sometimes they have overruns and you can get them cheaper.
  23. I use the Horse Heads and pony heads, and this is a head style I traded for from a friend who has a custom mold. I use these small ones for panfish
