There's one more color I need to buy. What do you use for the Green Hi-Lite ?? Don't know if it will make much difference at all. But it's actually RED flake in the lure, though the picture looks ORANGE. Hope you all have a great weekend.

I use LC coloring. I may have to order some more colors. I'm sure they have new colors since the last time I molded any lures. So I guess it will be trail and error with small amounts. If I think I have anything close, I will let you know. Don't know if I'll have the chance to try it until after the dreaded family vacation though. Thanks for the suggestions.

Just wondering if anyone has attempted to duplicate the color "Crawberry". Just ordered some molds and don't have a large quantity of plastic to experiment with. Would like to make different kinds of lures in that color or close to it. Thanks.

My season has sucked so far. But thanks for asking. I can't catch any fish. I don't know what the problem is. I use popular lures and can put the cast where I want to, but no results. My buddies catch fish at the same waters. I thought it might have something to do with hand acid, so before I went out last time, I rubbed my hands in salt and used fish attractant on my lures. Still nothing. I love fishing, but this is starting to annoy me. I've even tried down sizing, just to catch perch or crappie. It used to be that I could catch perch even when I didn't want to. Any suggestions would really help.

Thanks Guys. All my newer reels are 6:2:1. So I should be ok. Just need to get in tune with how I wanna present my lures.

I've been out of fishing for awhile and forgot half the stuff I knew. Also, I'm sure there are lots of new rigs to fish since I was into it before. Could someone give me a quick lesson on what reel ratios are best for the type of presentation you are going to use ?? I want to set up three rod and reel combos. One to fish finesse baits, one for smaller, faster plastic baits, and one for crankbaits. Thanks.

Anyone know the best way to cut out a skirt from a circular piece of rubber. I don't know of a tool that's made for that. I'm talking about a skirt like on plastic lures, NOT like on spinnerbaits. Also, anyone know where I can find a color mixing chart for making soft plastic baits ? Thanks.
