Guys, I did complain with a e-mail and told them just what I thought. I had already paid by CC when I ordered them, I let them know in no uncertain terms that I would not in my Life time ever do business with them again. That I felt I was deceived and that I have learned my lesson. I do have a supplier that I ususally get stuff from, but I needed a special one done and was told they could do it. I was told no problem and I asked about a set up fee and was told ther was none. At least that part was true.

I can still maybe able to use them, but not for what I wanted, its the fact that they charged me for 20 more than I ordered cause they said thats how its done in the industry and they were for bad ones if there were any. As far as the hooks go I cant even use them as spinner baits cause of the heavy wire, I guess lesson learned and I will never order form them again. Anyone need 220 wire forms,3/8 lead .051 wire with 32606N 4-0 short shank hooks ?? If you PM me I will tell you who they were.

I know that most of you pour your own lead for Spinnerbaits and buzz baits. I orderd some from a company, (which will remain nameless) I thought I was getting a good deal, I made it clear what I wanted and how many I wanted. Well when I got them, they were two things that I thought were not quite right. ONE: I ordered 200 pieces but they made 220 and billed me for 220, even tho at the time of placing the order I wasn't told this - We make 10% more in case of defects and you are billed for those ! I sent them an e-mail and I was told that it is common practice to do that, I said Why should I pay for defects, they shouldn't leave your plant if they are defective. TWO: I ordered these with a certain hook and they are not the hooks I ordered. I wanted long shank and they made them with short shank. What I wanted to know, Is it common practice to automatically make 10% more and bill the customer for those in case of Defects. thanks

I use them all the time and the only problem I had was he didnt have enough of the color I ordered, but a week later I got them. I usually order on a friday and have them by tuesday. Never have had any problems using Pay Pal or placing order on site. I dont think its on his end, it may be Pay Pal.

Some guys use Fluid beds others brushes, I use a small strainer that I tap over it. Its all trial and error on what works best for you. Hope this helps.

Ok guys, I know someone out there knows what I am looking for and talking about. Is there something out there for spinnerbaits that you can use to secure the bent wire ( for the blade ) instead of pinching it down. I mean sonething you can slip over it and then secure it. I would like to find something like this to use. Thanks guys for your help.

I don't seem to have the problem with these colors , the one I have is with WHITE. but I have finally figured that one out. I think that White is the hardest to do cause its the thickest. Trail and error finally got me there.

All the information before me is great stuff. I started making my baits 10 years ago, just for friends and myself. Now my Papa's Buzz is taking off great, but I was told I need to come up on the price. I could, but would they sell as well. I sell them on my web site, and I am in a couple of stores now. I get most of my orders from customers that got them in their stores. The stores sell them for the same price as I do. Yes it's true, mass produced is alot less than me in most cases, but you cant order from a mass producer the baits ( colors and style) you really want. I prefer to sell to the stores as they buy them in quantity's and thats ok as my my margin is there for the profit. Sure, I won't become a millionair, but it keeps me busy during the winter making enough for the rest of the year, it keeps me out of the other halfs way when I get bored, and I enjoy doing it.

Ok Guys and Gals here it is. I am looking for buzz blades like Cavitrons, with the holes in them and in RED Color. Anyone know where I can get them. I can get some with just two holes in em, but they are not RED, just plain. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I agree with Cad, I have an assortment of colors in Powder that you could never get with Vinyl/ I have some that I forgot to write donw the mix, and have no idea how I got it.
