Man I love what you do with those eyes. I wish I could keep my hand steady enough to do that. Great work as always Rowhunter.

  7. That bass likes to eat good! Great job, Mark.
  8. You can get the carosel motors online (ebay, appliance part sites, etc) resonably cheap. I've seen them go on ebay for about 6bucks!!! Just a suggestion...If that old drill isn't a variable drill you might sling epoxy all over the place.
  9. Never tried it, Im not going to leave my 200$ dewalt running for hours on end. Trash microwave turntable motor=FREE. Thats the best way to go.

Killer as usual Creekmonster! What are Vann's bodies anyway???
  12. Is there an easy way to remove a matte finish from a bait? Sanding and priming has never worked because it's almost impossible to get it from inbetween the scales, what ever the matte is composed of reacts to my primer and cracks and peels. Ive used alcohol before but its kind of a pain, It seams like if you get alcohol on the bill it gets brittle. Just wanted to know if there was a trick I didn't know of.

  14. Gar's love top water lures. I've caught quite a few later in the evening on them. Did it come out of the water about 20 times before you got it in. Thats what everyone of them has done with me. Fights like a little tarpon.

Sweet man! Hard keeping the epoxy out of that front eye, isn't it. Always had trouble with those.
  16. Yep, that sure looks like the one. I cant seem to find any with the gems in them though. Also all the ones I see have a stamp saying florida bait co. This one doesnt!
  17. I've got a buddy that is really into the antique lure thing. He purchased some at a yard sale the other day and got a few really old creek chubs and heddons, well he had a couple of these also. I couldn't tell him anything, I've never seen one. I don't know if those diamonds were added or if it was made like that.
