  7. The problem I have with Jans, and maybe it is only me, but when I go to their website, it won't let me out of it. I need to get off the web and get back on again before doing anything else. Pop, It's not a problem with website. I'm pretty sure, It's Internet Explorer issue. I'd suggest to clear cookies. Hope, it helps regards, PSV
  8. Are you asking about Springers 78 & 100 ? They worked fine for me last season, but some finishes are not really durable (american shad and some others). Regards, PSV
  9. Barlow's price is $35.74, which is absolutely normal in comparison with custom molds prices. .http://www.barlowstackle.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=6&Product_ID=2516&CATID=59

  12. It can be Gamakatsu Cobra Jig. I bought them from Netcraft. I painted them ( painting is ugly, but I'm learning ))) + Starflash skirt and jig was ready to fish.
  13. Glaucus, Thank you, very much for such great reply. It's fantastic information. Originally, I thought about Do-It SJ-3H-X model upgrade to accept 0.62, but now, I think, I've better go with one from Luremaking and their 0.62 ready forms. I also have Hagen's and Boggs wire benders. I like them both. Boggs for lighter stuff and Hagen

    Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I build mine mostly for Musky and use .051 or .062 SS wire. I'm planning to use 0.62 on 1 1/2 & 2oz on a Muskie /Pike spinnerbaits. May I ask you couple questions? 1. Do you use Do-It or custom molds? 2. What brand of 0.62 wires do you recommend for heavy spinnerbaits? I found Mason 0.51, which I used before and like it, from Barlow, but they don't have 0.62. Thank you, in advance. Regards, PSV
  17. Yesterday, I received new BassPro Master Catalog. They advertised this silicone as Starflash on page 363. I'm confused with length (3ft) and price (2.99$). Looks too cheap for Starflash material.

Hey Big-D, Nothing on Ebay so far. I think, I'm going to buy regular Sparkie mold and make jigs weedlless by myself. I also do jigs for personal use only. I'm also thinking about Poison Tail mold. Model PTJ-3-AFM. 3/4 & 1oz will work for me. What do you think ? http://www.barlowstackle.com/acb/showdetl.cfm?&DID=6&Product_ID=2516&CATID=59 Regards, PSV

    BIG jigs

Guys, Thank you, very much for sharing. I ordered one from Zeiner's as well. I had great season with Cobra Jig. Many pike were caught using Gamakatsu Cobra jig this summer and fall (I bought them at Janns. Here is the link: http://www.jannsnetcraft.com/flipping-jig-heads/345476.aspx Unfortunately, Gamakatsu doesn't have bigger sizes. I also tried Esox Cobra Jig: http://store.ebait.com/merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ECMag&Category_Code=Salt&Store_Code=baitrigs They are good, but price is way too high, in my opinion. Next, I thought about custom mold. Contacted S.Collins. His price was 200$ per mold. Kind of expensive for me at this time. I did couple molds from plaster of Paris. It worked, but after 20-25 jigs, the mold crushed and quality was not as good as from standard mold. It seems, this mold is just perfect solution for my needs. Thank you, again. Regards, PSV
