    2 Questions

Papamark, Maybe my question wasn't clear. I saw some guys sell what they called RAW blades for painting (steel or brass). For example, I have bunch of silver plated blades which I don't like. Can I paint them with powder? regards, PSV
  6. I buy lead from ebay. Average price about 1-1.10$ per #. I mixed soft lead with tire wheel weights with very good results and shiny finish. If you want to try round silicone skirts, buy some starflash skirts (available in Netcraft, Barlow's, Stamina). They are more expensive then flat silicone skirts, but I like them a lot on my jigs. Hope it helps.

  10. I'm going to make Musky/Pike size spinnerbaits. I'm slowly buying all components and tools now. It seems, it's going to be a lot of fun this winter. I setup a one week trip to Canada in next June and want to fish with my own spinnerbaits. Regards, PSV
  11. Ted's tutorial is the best way to learn how to.... Thank you, so much for help and sharing. Ted, I'm doing better, but still need more practice. The problem is consistency. One jig is good, second is not, but overall is a lot better then anything I did before. Regards, PSV

  17. Hey Guys, Did anybody order Muskie/Pike spinner blades from LakeLand (link below)? Musky & Pike Lure Spinner Blades I like their selection, but I'm not sure if gold finish is 24k gold or just plain gold finish. How is the quality of painted blades ? Thank you, in advance. Regards, PSV

  19. Guys, 6$ per month - it's nothing. It's just ridiculous to have all this discussions. Pay or not. It's just 6$ per month. Less then a pack of cigarettes, 1/30 of my cable/internet bill. It's funny. Many of us pay hundred's dollars for guide service, fishing seminars, books and DVD

But with your help and support they are a lot better product then they were earlier. I'm definitely in. I'm sorry to see some members are about to live. Regards, PSV

    Too much powder

I had the same problem before. Now I use artist brush to put powder on jigs. Result is perfect.(I do jigs for personal use only, about 100 jigs 3-4 times per year. Speed is not an issue in my case. You can buy FB from Benjamin (Dayooper), who is a member of TU and has the one of the best prices for FB and Pro-Tec powder. Hope it helps. Regards, PSV
