Just a quick note I bought 3 different injectors from basstackle over the years and each one was supposed to be 5/8th,well they are but not any piece from one will interchange with the other,meaning the nozzles will not fit each other,small size differences,you would think they would be the same but they are not!

Im using the essential clear hard from do it,I get cups of clear non bubble plastic in my microwaves,in fact the clearest plastic I have used yet and reheats are clear also!

Yes many lure craft colors have changed,what I don't like is you do not know it until you purchase them and then find out,buy in small size and sample first so you don't have any large quantities of unwanted colors as I did

The clear actually toughens the bait,it does lock the paint in but the paint doesn need that,its a special soft plastic paint,the clear slo locks in the 3d eyes,gives the lure more bulk and a shine also -
These are another one of my creations,I call it the plasti fly,i started with a piece of stiff roll bar foam from a race car roll bar,cut it to the shape I wanted then dipped the body in yellow plasti dip,inserted stiff wire through the body the seal the entrance and exit of the wire with more plasti dip,added the hook and split ring,painted the body with black plasti dip then glued on the 3d eyes and added the through body lure skirts,this is indestructible,the foam combined with the outer shell of plasti dip hold up to pike,muskies,you name it,and it floats -
These are a creation of mine for ice fisherman ,I make these for fishing deep lakes jigging for lake trout and walleye and pike,salmon,pole is a hardwood dowel that has been treated with a wood oil,makes it water proof and very plyable,reel is all hard wood,everything turns with the use of hardwood dowels and a hand made wood ball handle,these are as much fun to make as they are to use,all oiled and stained for an old antiqish look,these work awesome but look great on the wall or mantle also,entire pole and reel are made of hardwoods -

I call this my Retro Darter,inspired by an old hotrod custom car I seen,has a real retro look,we selected a nice piece of Hardened dried pine and gave it the torch treatment for the burnt look at the rear,we then used transparent paints to give it an almost flame effect,epoxied all the hook hardware in and added the blood red hooks and matching eye then gave it 2 coats of epoxy,the lure darts through the water like you would not believe with just short jerks,fun lure that catches fish!!! -
This is one of my creations,Its a weighted glider bait,its 5 inches in length and cut from birch,I drill out the belly and added weight until it suspends just under the surface,I added real birch bark to the outside of the bait and sealed it with 2 ton epoxy,added a glow in the dark eye,extra large split rings and large Treble hooks, -
These are Bogbaits Topwater Rats,made from a silicone mold, we added our floating additive to our hard Plastisol to achieve just the right Buoyancy,Custom paint using the Vip Soft Plastic Lure Paint,mixed the paint light to achieve the effect with air brush,we added our Cool solid Black 3d eyes,then we hand dipped the entire rat in a clear hard plastisol to tuff it up,we like to add a 4/0-6/0 widegap hook!!!These are killer on and over any weedbed but are also great in open water when jerked,they actually dart side to side!!!

This is Bogbaits Monster Buzz Bait,we took 90# Surflon coated Black leader wire and combined it with Lureparts Giant Buzz blade,we then added our 6/0 corkscrew hook rig,we attatched that to our 6 inch Poisin Bog Frog,Great Big Bass and Big Pike/Musky lure,You can also add any of your favorite soft plastic frogs,snakes,worms to the rig,options are endless!We custom painted the frog with I Spike it VIP paint,added our own Black 3d eyes,clear dipped the head in a clear hard Plastic!!© @www.bogbaits.com

If I had to pick one color it would be black,no flake just plain black ,always my go to color,boring but seems to produce time after time!!

I just did a color like that,a few drops of yellow then a tiny bit of brown then black flake it almost looks like they put a bit of white pearl in it also cant tell from the pic

Ive been pouring as a business for about 9 years now so im no newbie,and this is not intended to start a plastic war or to bash any company,just wanted to get that out of the way,For the most part I have been using lurecraft plastic,I switched to the salt water plastic they carry about 3 years ago,loved the stuff,over the past few years each batch I purchased seemed to vary in hardness and consistency,the last 2 batches have smelled strongly of petroleum smell,contacted lurecraft and nothing has changed they say,well my customers are complaining and I noticed it,I pour a lot so I will know if it changed,anyway looking for imput,who makes a real durable plastic,salt water tough that has lo odor,low smoke,doesnt burn easily,I know its a lot to ask but ive used the lurecraft so long its all I know,I did try the essential a few weeks ago but its too soft for my liking ,please chime in,I will be asking for samples from manufaturers but just wanted to get some imputmthanx

You can also hit the baits with a small propane torch,shines them up everytime with one pass,I still use the torch from time to time on dull baits from dull molds,they shine even better!!!

Dont stir it,i never touched mine and no bubbles at all,1200 watt microwave on high also

Just recieved my order,I tried it with our floating additive,our old plastic was too stiff,this plastic with the floating additive is perfect,baits are very soft and not stiff,love it!!!

Sounds like the plastic is too hot when you hit that mold first,let your plastic cool a bit before you shoot it

I use it and it still hard packs,in my opinion Still the best plastic on the market,my opinion,tried them all but for my set up I use the saltv water and its great!!!doesnt take me long to mix it and its well worth it!!!

Glue it with 2ton epoxy,I have many that I glued and it works fine,just make sure your clamp it real tight to make sure its true then put some epoxy on the outside across the crack,will keep it from breaking again
