Does anyone on this site make the 1/8 oz guppy style spinnerbait heads? I am looking to buy a few. You can PM me if you have some true 1/8 oz heads for sale. Send pic if possible.
Well I just took an old outdoor grill grate and layed across of the coleman stove and that part is fine. Just the expense of the small propane canister that I'm trying to get away from. Those turkey fryers at BPS are 43.00 delivered now.
Has anyone ever set up a propane stove with a 20 lb propane tank for melting lead? I know the small canisters of propane are nearly 3 bucks apiece and was trying to get a more economical setup. What size fitting would you need to attach to the stove input and where would you get it? Or can you just get a fitting to adapt to where you screw in the small propane canisters?
The lead from Ebay seller Junkateer Jerry is excellent. Got 50 lbs of it this week. I got some sheet lead from a Metals Recycling place here last week and it sure needs alot of cleaning. Good and soft, but will need to be fluxed several times.
What size and type of head were you looking for? Unpainted or painted. I do both. Hidden Head and guppy head with recessed eyes. Several of the guys on this site do.
Sorry Ted I haven't been back on here in awhile. Nursed a back injury after I posted this question. I was talking about the Red Mustad 32608N hook fading sometimes after I cure the spinnerbaits in my oven. Thought maybe I just had a bad batch of hooks or something.
Does anyone else have a problem with the red spinnerbait hooks fading after they are powder painted and cured in the oven? Seems like they always fade for me.
Does anyone know where I can get some custom spinnerbait wire forms made without having to buy 5000 at once? I like my wire 1 7/8" X 3.5" X .035 and also the same in .040.
Well I'm not new to this powder painting. I have probably painted 2000 in the last couple of years. The only colors I have a problem with is the chartruse and green chartruse, so I think there is a pigment in the paint that makes it easier to run.
