  1. Steve, I designed this bait on a program called BobCad. It is a computer design program that can make 2D or 3D drawings or models, that then can be programed into a CNC machine to cut it out. There are lots of different modelers out there. The majority of my expeirence is in 2D. Just recently I started learing more about 3D modeling which will make bait design 10 times easier.
  2. Thanks Guys. I will keep my phone on me to see if Zoom calls buuuuuutttttt, I'm not counting on it. In the mean time I am going to sell as many as I can. I going to start putting all 6 colors I make on Ebay if you guys want to check some out. Bryan, I like edge craw a lot too. I could see that on the label for sure. That might be my new favorite.
  3. We have a new front runner gentleman. CADMAN CRAW is killer! CADMan, when I make my first million I promise I will give you a cut or a new Ranger Z or a cup of coffee or something. The original was actually drawn on AutoCad for a design project for class. I made some changes to it and re-drew it at work. We have BobCad at work. Not a 3D modeler, so it was a little tough. However, it came out really nice. Thanks to my buddy Rex too for helping me cut it out. Making your own stuff is really awesome. When you get the chance to design the mold too, it's even better. I can't wait to see what my 5th bait looks like. Thanks Guys Keep the Names coming.
  4. Not bad, not bad. It does tend to scare little kids.
  5. Looking for a little help everybody. What should I call this bait? Right now, I call it the CAD Craw. I originally drew it on a CAD program for class. Has to be a better name than that. It's 3.25" and I will mostly pitch, flip and punch this little guy. Any Ideas?

    School Master Jig

Yeah it's the brush jig. The flatline rubber is nice. I'm a youngster, so I can't coment much on the old style rubber. What I can tell you is this new stuff is great. Flares nice, great action and best part is, it's already split. No more cutting those sillly old tabs apart.

    School Master Jig

My new jig. Hand tied flatline rubber and Living Image skirts.
  10. Sorry IPT, molds won't be for sale. Im hoping that making my own unique stuff will help me distinguish myself from the crowd. I will see what I can do in terms of a video too a little later this week. Dubay, when I designed this bait, I wanted it to be able to do many things well. It's 3.25" but has some good bulk to it. The thing I will do most with it will be flip mats with a 1oz. weight. Second however, is just like you said. Dropshotting and dragging on St. Clair and Erie for full grown smallmouth.
  11. First off I want to say thanks to everyone on this forum. I have been the guy laying in the grass, not posting anything for the last couple years, just soaking up tip tricks and hints from all you guys. I have now been doing it for a couple years and between first hand knowledge and information from sites like this one and Bears Baits and Caney Creek, I have learned a great deal about this hobby. I am going to make a much better effort on helping people that I can now. I realize the bait buisness is a very competative one. However, the more people I can help and the more friends I have, the better I think. With that being said, I wanted to show you guys my first new bait. I designed and cut this mold and have a couple more that I will be adding to my line this season. What do you guys and girls think?
  12. My mistake, It's the 5" Brush Baby 2 part 2 cavity.
  13. Sorry Smallie, BPC craw mold sold. Still got the 4" Brush Baby
  14. I've got two Del-mart molds for sale. 4" 2 cavity BPC craw mold 4" 2 cavity Brush Baby mold $50.00 each, or $85.00 for the pair. Both are two part molds (hand pour) in like new condition. I'm stepping up to injection molds and no longer have a use for these two.
  15. Anyone pouring Del's plug craw yet. It looks like it could be dynamite as a jig trailer or just as a flippin' bait. Lastly there's a lot of appendages, does it take a little effort to get a good bait out of the mold.
  16. I found some un-painted tungsten weights that are cheaper than any other tungsten weight I've found. My question is, can they be powder painted like a regular lead weight? If so is it hard to keep the paint out of the line holes?
  17. How long is the medium craw chunk from Del's? Is it the same size as a Zoom Super Chunk Jr. Or is the smallest one closer in size to the super chunk jr.
  18. Just wondering if anyone has ever poured this mold, Lurecraft Swimbait 5x823. How's the action? 5x823 - LureCraft
  19. I was going to maybe make an attempt at dipping a couple. I've never done anything like this, but I was going to try to make atleast one cavity a slit belly by putting a peice of thing metal through the bottom of the mold in the belly cavity area. Then I could dip the bait over the eyes and the belly would remain hollow hopefully. This maybe a little too much but I might try it.
  20. RX I much appreciate your comments. With out help from you guys a newbie like my self wouldn't have even started. Couple more questions for you, how well do the eyes stay on there and what size hook does that bait need.
  21. I'm maybe going to buy the lurecraft swimbait mold #783. I was wondering if anyone else had this mold. Does it have a good action and what type of plastic does it work best with. Here's the link to the one I'm talking about. 5x783 - LureCraft
  22. I just purchased the new shakey head mold made by do-it. I purchased some of the screw locs and man are they horrible. They are way to big to fit inside a finesse worm. Is there a smaller size I can buy or a different option or are those my only option. Also, which is the better hook Mustad or Gamakatsu 60degree flat eye.
  23. Does lurecraft have an actual store in Indiana or are they strictly an internet based company.
  24. I'm looking to get into pouring some of my own plastics, and I was just wondering where you guys did your pouring at. I've got pretty limited space and was curious what everyone else had set up.
