  1. Does anyo e know where you can get Shad rap blank? I got some from predator bass baits and it doesn't look like he carries them anymore.
  2. I'd be interested in DN1 and DN2.
  3. I've had good luck with the Shad bait from predator bass baits. The baitfish ones for Janns, stamina, and other places work good also. The baitfish ones seem to take some tuning sometimes but I haven't had to throw any out yet.
  4. I ordered from predator last spring and was very pleased. All the baits worked good. And more importantly caught fish.
  5. That bait has caught over 30 muskies this year. The guy fishing with Larry is the best friend of a guy I work with. I've been hearing about that bait for a while before he post that how to video. I have his video on making baits, and it pretty sweet. Takes a lot of the guess work out of figuring out how to make molds a pour baits
  6. I've used it on baits for walleye fishing. It seems to hold up pretty well for that. I dip and hang. I do 2 or 3 coats. I have tried it on musky baits and did 5 coats. So far it seems to hold up to hook rash as good as some of my commercial baits.
  7. I used it on some baits I use for walleye fishing and it seems to hold up. I normally take and spray on a coat of aerosol clear coat and then dip them 2 or 3 times in the CS sealcoat. I have a limited amount of time with them in the water at this point. But I did buy some more to try so hopefully, I will get some fish to chew them up and see how it holds up. The couple I have used have caught some northern pike, walleye, largemouth and smallmouth bass.
  8. I let some sit 3-4 hours before redipping them and others I waited until the next day. I cant remember which ones I did what to but I have used all of them and havent had any problems yet. As far as createx paint wrinkling, you need to heat set the paint. I steal the wifes hair dryer when she is gone at work and do my painting. I had 2 baits wrinkle and that when I started heat setting the paint and the problem was solved.
  9. I have some walleye crankbaits that I dipped in it. So far they seem to hold up to walleyes, smallmouth bass and a couple northerns.
  10. I bought some and as far as I can tell its alright. Someone on here said that there paint ran when dipped into it. I paint mine and heat set the paint and haven't had any problems. As far as durability, I havent tried any of them out due to a foot of ice on the area lakes.
  11. Thanks that good to hear. I guess I never thought about the wheel weights having it in them too.
  12. Thanks for the information. I think I'll tell him to sell it. If it does have arsenic in it, I dont really want to melt it.
  13. Im not sure how much he has. He just asked me if I had any use for it.
  14. I have a bunch of lead shot from when my dad used to reload shotgun shells. Could a guy melt that in jigs? Thinking about starting to make jigs and spinnerbaits and was wondering if that would be an option. Thanks Brian
