  1. Poly bags are stronger... I use 4 mil bag and make my own from a 1500 foot tube
  2. I don't know who your talking about... but... I have a machine shop (don't make molds) LOL but the longest part of a custom mold is making the program. This person may be very busy with orders he has already been payed on. I have worms I need to copy that have been with me for almost a year, I can't put in front of people that I already have their money. I do think he should be answering your emails though... just the right thing to do.
  3. Seems to be a lot of money... for a starting bid and a Buy It Now. May be worth it... I don't know
  4. I have lots of those mold... they are still the ones I like pouring in to.... old school all the way.

    ebay

I have a ebay store and no I don't make money on ebay. It does help get rid of a lot of plastic I have around. I can remember back 8 years ago... it was just Alsworms and me on ebay for the most part... I made great money then.
  6. You don't need to do anything to them.... Just pour.
  7. I have 18 pots... one pot for black glitter, red, green and so on. When I am done pouring a color I dump the rest of the plastic out and wipe inside with a paper towel.
  8. Save the 5 gallon bucket (the ones that stack) till you get 12 then start buying 55 gal drum. The price drops a bunch.
  9. I did a copy on a year or so ago but cant find the card I wrote it on. All I think I used was LC Amber. Add your drops one at a time and test after evey drop because you can make it too dark. If I find my card I'll post it.
  10. I have a Fry Daddy I'm going to use for tube but I don't think I'll be able to make many before the level drops to low. I think it will be a waste of plastic. JMO. I am going to try the ice tea can in my lee production pot.
  11. I had sent a message to Jim thru ebay telling him the same, a couple weeks ago.... Some darn good work there Jim
  12. I bought some POP mold from Chris on ebay. I will try to explain this the best I can. I put one of the molds face up into a foil baking pan (the ones you buy 3 for about a $1.00). I took the plastic I pour with ( old stuff that I goofed up with) and added a lot of hardener. Got it up to temp. and poured it over the mold. Let it cool.... popped the mold out... one master. I am going to take pictures and post them.... I hope. #1 mold in the pan #2 pour plastic with lots of hardener #3 the mold in the plastic after it cooled The master and new mold I made from it. No sanding or touch up on the new molds Sorry Chris! 8 mold just wasn't enough to pour through. LOL But I do like it...great little worm
  13. Like earthwormm77 said... always add to hot plastic and a pinch ( a small pinch) is all it takes
  14. Those look great! I am making a dipper myself right now.
  15. I have made a lot of molds with resin... but never with filler. I have bought some molds from Chris (alsworms) and now trying my hand a POP molds (I have a long way to go with that LOL). Like Vodkaman said.... let us know how it works out.
